It was looking like the Islamic terrorist assault in Syria would peter out and they would fail to achieve the takeover. If Assad is dead — a big if at this point — then we may yet see another step toward the Caliphate succeed.

Again? If this keeps up, he will rival Arafat in how times he died. If I remember correctly, Arafat was reportedly to have died 7 or 8 times before he actually did.

The assassin of the butcher of Damascus would be his Iranian bodyguard, an army officer named Mehdi Jakoby. He was in charge of presidential security and had been “offered” by Tehran to its Syrian ally faithful.According to various sources reported fighting armed throughout Damascus. The roads leading to the hospital would be closed

Culture and languages

In the Judaic, Christian, as well as in Islamic tradition, Sunday has been considered as the first day of the week....

According to the Arab media www.eltira.org, Bashar Al-Assad would well was seriously injured by bullets yesterday Saturday 23 March by his Iranian bodyguard but would not die. He is currently hospitalized, between life and death, the Damascus Shami hospital which the adjacent streets have been closed.

Proprietary information (in France): according to information published in the Arab press (then republished in the Israeli press), information that journalists claim to have ‘checked’, the Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad reportedly was killed this morning by one of his bodyguards. An important safety device was set up at the Hospital of the Damascus.

"between life and death"

Otherwise, if he isn't between life and death, he could be on the other side of life or the other side of death.

So basically the awkward wording is due to the translation from the French. Basically it says that Assad was shot by an Iranian bodyguard and depending on who you believe or read, he’s either dead or close to it. Sounds like Damascus is locked down and in a state of siege and there will undoubtedly further developments to follow.

Whew!

Obama can relax now....

AQ will now be in charge and the perpetual mid-East turmoil he craves, will close that region to oil exports.

NO! I’m NOT talking about Syrian oil.
I’m talking about regional turmoil.
