Yes, He will come again. Praying He comes soon! I cannot tolerate this evil world....I want OFF!
So many of us feel the same way.

I can't say one name is nore accurate than the other, as they now mean different things, in my opinion. I choose to use 'Resurrection Sunday' because to me, it better sums up my reason for celebration. Easter is a holiday in Canada (Good Friday is a statutory holiday and Easter Monday is a bank and office holiday). It is only for a smaller number of people, that it is a Holy Day. Most people in this city, celebrate 'chocolate' Easter; the easter of eggs and bunnies and sometimes. hot crossed buns and ham, an Obama easter, if you will! The world can have its Easter eggs, Easter bunnie, etc. I'll take Jesus!

the resurrection was made deliberately hard to believe in order to separate the goats from the sheep

Why would he want to separate the ‘goats from the sheep’? I thought he loved all of mankind. WHy not make it easy to believe and convert more people?

Is it better to call yesterday Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday?
I can't say one name is nore accurate than the other, as they now mean different things, in my opinion. Given that the name Easter is essentially a transliteration of the Babylonian fertility goddess Ishtar (hence the bunnies and eggs as symbols of the holiday), I choose to call it Resurrection Day.

the resurrection was made deliberately hard to believe in order to separate the goats from the sheep i have to respectfully disagree. the stone was rolled away, not so that Jesus could get out of the tomb but so that all could go in and see that he was no longer there. Jesus appeared to the women at the tomb, and then to other followers, then to the disciples, and then to more than 500 people at one time to prove that He was and is indeed risen. the sheep and the goats will ultimately be separated by their lack of faith and the lack of any fruit of that faith -- not because the resurrection was so hard to believe but simply because they rejected the free gift of Grace from God.
