??It is the title and chorus of a late 60s song by a group called The First Edition-Kenny Rogers was one of them, I think-very intelligent and profound lyrics like ...my soul down a deep dark hole then I followed it in-I watched myself crawl out as I was crawling in-I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in-the tune was catchy, though..<<
it could end up as a Cheech & Chong movie
if by “goes over all his budgets” you mean spends more than was allotted then I agree with you.
LOL, I didn’t mean it that way (I was sarcastically alluding to his promise to go over the federal budget “line by line”) but you’re right to say he “goes OVER all his budgets” with his actual spending.
I always thought it was “hose” and not “nose”
“Blow my Mind?”???
Is that a threat? /s
My mind won’t be blown until I see how much he is giving me and my wife.
Rumor has it that we are on line 235,634,038 and line 235,634,039.
Somewhere around page 5,000,000.
He’s not going to sign it until he has read the whole thing. It should take around 65 years just to get to our lines!
I just walked right in, sat right down, and asked Alice about this when she was ten-feet tall. She said “Bummer!!”
That almost blew my mind.
Isn’t that just 1/2 a mile from the railroad tracks? She didn’t ask you to take out the garbage did she?
Oh, that’s right. There are two Alices! My Alice was flying high with Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane at the same. I just looked it up and saw that “Alice’s Restaurant” and “White Rabbit” were both released in 1967.
Here’s a little web page about Officer Obie, Arlo’s friend: http://www.arlo.net/obie.shtml
With the posts about that stoner song, I couldn’t get it out of my head till I found it on youtube and listened to all the weird lyrics-and discovered that Jerry Lee Lewis recorded it first on an album...
When I see nobama and blow in the same sentence I think several things: (a) reggie, (b) powder and (c)the press in regards to nobama.
The first thing I thought of was that he must have done some snorting while he wrote that budget. Now that the details have started coming out, I’m sure that is the case...
When a person’s mind is blown, that person is, at least for a period of time, no longer capable of rational thought or comprehension, beyond speaking the lame expressions, “Whoa,” “Far out,” “Out of sight,” and “Man.”
Is that what Carney was promising the White House Press Corp?
