The daughter of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright — the controversial former pastor to President Barack Obama — was indicted today in an expanding federal probe of a state grant tied to a former suburban police chief.
Jeri Wright of Hazel Crest is accused of helping former Country Club Hills Police Chief Regina Evans convert fake paychecks from Evans’ nonprofit to Evans’ personal use, allegedly hiding money that was supposed to be used to train minority and female workers in the building trades.
Federal prosecutors in the Illinois’ central district say Jeri Wright received about $28,000 in grant-tied paychecks in 2009, but $20,000 of that was deposited back into accounts controlled by Evans. Prosecutors also say Wright then lied to officers and a grand jury.
The charges emerge about a year after Evans was charged with fraud in relation to a $1.25 million job training grant awarded to her nonprofit, We Are Our Brothers Keeper.

IOW, a kickback scheme where Wright was allegedly doing work for Evans, was paid $28,000 for that "work," kicked back $20,000 to Evans and then did the super no-no of lying to the Feds and the GJ about it.
The strikikng thing is what small potatoes all of this is by Chicago standards, involving only $20,000 and some lying to the authorities, the kind of thing that goes on all the time in Chicago and has gone on for generations. Most significantly, it comes on the heels of the JJ Jr. indictment and conviction for something that was also relatively small change by Chicago standards. There's no way either this or the JJ Jr. prosecution would have occurred without approval by the Illegal himself. What's going on with the Shitburg (aka Chicago) Demoncraps???

Some very serious unreported conflict is going on between the Illegal and his accomplices and members of the Chicago black Demoncrap power structure. That’s what the media ought to be looking into and reporting on. If the Illegal didn’t have a very serious ax to grind, there’s no way Princess Wright, JJ Jr., and JJ Jr’s wife would have all been indicted for such small potatoes.
