To: NY Attitude

So why aren’t the “good” police officers reporting on the bad ones. They don’t, when these things happen they all cover up for the fellow policeman. That leaves only bad police officers in the end.

I totally agree with you. I have worked with people that do not question the job but just go out and perform it,just like puppets.

Duh..the public complaints come in every day on a police officer. He/she is under under a microscope. In big cities, they would get killed for opening their mouths which some have ended up dead. It's not an easy clear cut answer like you seem to think. It's sad big cites have the worse problems with corruption. Chicago and NOLA. Affirmation action is not a good thing for being accepting in police work as well.

That is the question. As long as the good ones cover for the others, they are all guilty of being tyrants and thugs.
