North Korea on Sunday rebuffed a South Korean proposal to resolve rising tensions through dialogue, dismissing it as a "crafty trick" by its rival. Tensions have been high on the Korean Peninsula for weeks, with Pyongyang threatening to attack Seoul and Washington for conducting joint military drills and for supporting U.N. sanctions imposed on North Korea for a February nuclear test. While the threats are largely seen as rhetoric, U.S. and South Korean officials have said they believe North Korea may test-fire a mid-range missile designed to reach the U.S. territory of Guam.

S. Korea should show what a “crafty trick” it would be to destroy the thousands of artillery pieces the NORKs have pointed at Seoul. Threaten war? Reject “talks?” No problem! [Boom!] No guns.

S. Korea would not be the only nation sending in food if this goes down...they’ll be a mass entry of food from the International community...and very likely on standby currently.

This is not going to be a case of blackmailing succeeding this time around....not without a change in N.Korea’s leadership.

I think we’ll eventually see Kim ushered out of there....the Chinese taking over...but pretty much on the hush in order not to rile the cult followers.

Not sure why you believe that. Thus far this Kim has done nothing that wasn't done before and his predecessors were not ushered out of there. I think what you say could happen if he goes too far but thus far he hasn't made that move yet.

It’s likely Kim isn’t in charge, but is obeying a clique of corrupt generals who don’t want to lose their control over Korea’s economy (what there is of it) if the society opens up.
