What We Know About Boston Marathon Bomb Suspects Dzhokhar And Tamerlan Tsarnaev

Multiple sources have identified Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, as the remaining suspect in the Boston marathon bombings.

His brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, has been identified as the first suspect and died overnight following a firefight with police.

NBC News' Pete Williams said earlier Friday morning that the two suspects likely had "foreign military training," and had been in the country for about a year.

Later he said they were brothers, and added, "They were legal permanent residents. They were in this country legally, at least a year. They appear to be from Turkey, possibly Chechens from Turkey. That seems to be the nationality here."

Just before 7 a.m. Friday morning, the Associated Press confirmed Williams' reporting and naming Tsarnaev. Born July 22, 1993, according to Williams, Tsarnaev attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and has a Massachusetts drivers' license.

The brother, although NBC initially reported he was 20, was 26 and named Tamerlan Tsarnaev. He died overnight in the firefight with police, suffering from "blast and potentially gunshot wounds ...probably a blast injury [and] possibly shrapnel" throughout his trunk.

the president was saying it was related to tax day

To be fair, I don't think that he actually did that. Carney threw out a laundry list of possibilities, including that, with a "we just don't know yet" type of disclaimer.

Um, a little inconsistent with the stars n bars there isn’t it? I mean one used negatively followed by one in an implied positive light? Otherwise good stuff.

" So here's the riddle of the day for Big Sis: How did these guys manage to get in and out of terror training camps without getting attention? Maybe the State Dept/DHS just felt bad for poor lil Chechens visting their poor white haired ol' grandma? "

Yeah, how about that, the big riddle of the day.

Was it because ?

Big big sista Hillary felt very wery bad for them and let them get a visitors visa to Chechens home base to get a anti-America Liberal education paid for by the US tax payers ( no wonder it was done on Tax day ).

And ?

Big sista 2 also felt bad and the DHS also gave them some travel packets to the Chechens home base to feel good to be Muslim and a good old hate America, hate Christians, hate whitey education ?

His religion taught him to hate America and his professors and teachers undoubtedly taught him the same thing.

Islam is not merely a religion, it is a political movement. The goal of every true Muslim is to destroy all infidels. An Islamic utopia with no Jews, no Christians, no Hindus, no Bhuddists and no dissent . . .

I don't disagree with that assessment but need to point out that wherever they've achieved that Nirvana, the killing hasn't stopped. They start turning on each other.

"Tamerlan" is an interesting name for a terrorist.

The historical Tamerlane (aka Timur), a Muslim, fashioned himself after Genghis Khan (or should I pronounce that "Jen-jis Khan," a la John Fraud Kerry?).

Yeah, they hated that liberal town enough to kill. Maybe liberalism doesn’t work with terrorism either?

I heard on news that they suspect military grade explosives. Where are two college aged losers getting that type of material? Like you said, follow the money. We cannot even get good old firecrackers anymore.

>>>Its obvious that in recent years, Muslim immigrants have been green lighted. Its an old cliche by now: Coming to the USA to do “jobs” Americans just won’t do.<<<

“Chechen-worker” - a Russian satirical example to explain a term ‘oxymoron’.
In fact getting a job is very insulting for a ‘real’ self-respecting Chechen.
‘Chaban’ or a Chechen for shepherd is a n-word there.

Under Soviets they mostly lived on welfare&food stamps and crime. As soon as Soviets went bankrupt and couldn’t afford to support them they simply went ballistic and started to kill everyone non-Chechen around to steal from them or to have some fun.
Too bad police in Chechnya were ethnic-Chechen due to Soviet affirmative action policies. It took a few years and hundreds thousand Christian and Jewish lives before federal government started to bomb this place.

I’m just going on the earlier view that perps “had military training”. Also I am guessing it’s “complicated” to go test pressure cooker IEDs around metrowest Boston.
