Leaders say they fear reprisals against their communities
"These are acts of crime, not acts of religion," Benjamin Abdul-Haqq, an imam at Masjid Muhammad mosque in Washington, told the news conference.
Corey Saylor, legislative director for CAIR, said the group feared reprisals.
"We're very concerned, because in past instances some individuals have decided to go out and target further innocent people because they look different or belong to a faith that is a minority," Saylor said.

To the headline: yea right!
Sorry laughing to hard to comment further.
OBS....End the rotten, murderous Religion and it won’t happen. And it’s not a Religion...It’s a form of government. It has no right to exist here in America.
They had better fear us!
you Aholes started this crap 1,400 years ago and have singled out those who are of different minds than Mongrel Moslems, marking one and all for death.
You clean up your mess and your house before crying Sheep ....
We have been fighting islam since Thomas Jefferson.
He said, “there is only ONE way to deal with people who only want to kill you, kill them first”.
Translation of CAIR’s statement:
“We’re sorry you Americans are a$$holes.”
CAIR, your “condemnation” is hereby rejected. And I am an a-hole to people who blow up innocent citizens.
They just lie to our faces. And half the people or more in this country believe them.
Yeah, with their fingers crossed behind their backs.
Yeah, whatever, Achmed..
The Germans and Japanese haven’t tried anything since 1945. Why is that?
Because they were made to suffer TOTAL DEFEAT. That is the proper end of a decisive war.
Stopping short leaves the enemy to fight again, and to never feel defeated.
Hence to win you bomb their cities and their civilians, to the extent necessary to fully convince them to get down, and stay down.
Yeah, Islam had nothing to do with it.
Grover Norquist is a good friend of all things radical Muslim:

Norquist to headline immigration forum in Indianapolis at CAIR Coalition October 4, 2012. ... CAIR Coalition News ...
Through the Islamic Institute, Norquist appears to have developed close relationships with a number of Muslim leaders. When I recently spoke to the Muslim Public Affairs Councils Salam Al-Marayati, the man who fingered Israel as a potential sponsor of the World Trade Center attacks, he recited Norquists phone number from memory.
Obamas radical Muslim advisors are Grover Norquists friends.
Here we go again, indeed. They condemn it and IMMEDIATELY start talking about how they are the victims. Waahh. Well, I’m here to say - I personally DO hold it against Muslims. Lots of Germans were good people but intimidated. Nevertheless, the Germans were, collectively, the Bad Guys during WWII.
“Leaders say they fear reprisals against their communities”
This will never end until they fear - or have experienced - nuclear reprisal against their entire world community.
Islam is akin to a cancer on civilization.
An individual cancer cell is almost identical, genetically, to the cells of the host organism. BUT, it acts very differently, running amok, multiplying like crazy, invading, usurping and destroying every aspect of its host, until it has destroyed it.
Not every individual cancer cell is busy doing this all the time, but they all will if the host’s defenses are insufficient, and the cancer cells often quickly reproduce or in other ways overwhelm those defenses.
The old medical adage is appropriate: drastic illnesses require drastic cures. The same cures that work for cancer - radiation, poisons and surgery - would work for Islam, and the goal would be the same: the eradication of every last trace of the cancer. Anything more timid, kinder and gentler, is merely wishful thinking, and we know the cancer will come back.
The only real question remaining is whether our patient will be bright enough and brave enough to undergo the treatment before there is irreparable damage, disability, or death.
And its not a Religion...Its a form of government.
I believe that Thomas Jefferson realized that. Thus why he had a Koran. It was a source of intelligence on the enemy. A historical fact lost on Keith Ellison (D-Minneapolistan)
All I see are some “bad guests” who need to be shown the door.
Yeah, sure, you condemn it and fear reprisals.
You SHOULD fear reprisals. Since your ilk do nothing but engage in acts of violence and reprisals for imagined slights, it is good that you also live in abject terror of those you have bloodied and murdered.
Gimme a minute while I wipe away my tears for you.......pissant.
