Obama: 'We've Closed An Important Chapter In This Tragedy'

The nation has "closed an important chapter" in its response to a terrorist attack on Monday, President Barack Obama said Friday evening at the White House, capping what the president called a "tough week" that captured much of the nation's attention.
After a day of anxious waiting that played out live on national television and in social media, police apprehended Dzhokhar Tsarnaev — the second, remaining suspect in Monday's bombing of the Boston Marathon — alive following a daylong manhunt that shut down much of the Boston metro area. (snip) The president warned against any rush to judgment. "When a tragedy like this happens … it's important that we do this right. That's why we have investigations. That's why we relentlessly gather the facts. That's why we have courts," he said. "That's why we take care not to rush to judgment -- not about motivations of individuals, certainly not about entire groups of people."

Sorry, but this is not a tragedy. At tragedy is a story in which the protagonist dies due to a flaw in his character that proves fatal. This was a terrorist attack.

OK, then we’ve closed an important chapter in regards to Sandy Hook. Closed. “Shall not be infringed” remains central to our way of life. We no longer need a “national conversation about guns”.
... unless, of course, you are ready to have that national conversation about Islam.
Since the President’s friends from the Weather Underground dropped terrorism and took up indoctrination on college campuses, no other enemies have attacked America from without or within. Except Islam.

I listened to B-HO’s monologue. Sounded like a professor listing items on a summary of a social studies course. We didn’t need an empty lesson from B-HO. Actually, we needed him to go back inside and shut his stupid mouth.

Facts, Mr. President, facts should determine what happened. Facts without your or your minion's actions interfering, covering up, delaying, withholding and exercising executive privileges.
Mr. President, if you want to play 'king of the mountain' at home with your wife, daughters and dog, that is between you and them but when you are performing duties of your elected, temporary (4 yrs) job as chief executive, being paid with public funds, living in public housing, it would serve you well to remember who employs you and to whom you MUST answer.

The part of me that believes we have very evil people in government right now wonders if an order came down not to Mirandize him for a specific reason.
