After all, if the jihad crowd wanted to blow up a few people here and there IRA-style they could have been doing it all this last decade. There has been a steady stream of individual, small-scale jihad incidents. They just haven't been bombings.

They also don’t get reported upon. If a jihadi kills someone and there’s no story, did the victim make a sound?

Well, if there’s a gun involved, like the guys who attacked the El Al counter at LAX or the Jewish community center in ... Oregon? ... the press focuses on the gun. “Gun violence” is the problem!
When another drove into a crowd of students at UNC, the news was all about its being an SUV.
I think we can expect more bombing incidents to come, since this one was a “success.”

I think so, too. Women and children will be concentrated upon, sorry to say, And the nation isn’t going to get angry until a lot more bodies pile up. It’s sickening that is what it’s going to take.

Steyn writes:
"At NPR, counterterrorism seems to mean countering any suggestion that this might be terrorism from you know, the usual suspects."
