What is DHS doing in Waco Texas hours before the explosion? Video blogger engages in speculation about some connection to Boston but is clueless what will happen 42 minutes after this was uploaded.

April 19th is the anniversary of the Clinton administration’s massacre of the Branch Dividians, which burned 84 people, including 24 children, alive. Perhaps DHS was anticipating some trouble in Waco on that day.

Seems like a reasonable deployment given the unknown nature (and much speculated ‘Tax activist’) of the bombings in Boston and the April 19th anniversary of the deaths in Waco.

I didn't check that.. Wanted to confirm the post was genuine so checked before and after to make sure he was from Waco really.. but didn't know anything more than this was a bit off.. and wondered what it means.. I looked and looked in coverage for when this Fire was called in and no luck.

You explanation seems reasonable.. but these guys carry real "Communications" with them.. if this thing was called into 911 system.. and it was.. because Firefighters died on the scene.. in the explosion.. then given the threat.. (that you would have thought someone would have considered.. considering.. Fertilizer Plant..) Why were these guys sitting on their hands and not clearing West at least?

I think you are right, the Waco anniversary is the reason.

The US government actually keeps a calendar of national and international event anniversaries, and even some private security companies do so as well. They do this because it actually helps ward off, or at least respond to potential anniversary events by pre-positioning.

Another great point.. could be that is what was up.. but it would be a terrible shame that they didn't keep track of what was happening in the surrounding area.. like a fire at a Fertilizer plant.. perhaps..

How is Waco form West where the explosion was. If they were part of a conspiracy they would not have been so obvious. They could be monitoring for something maybe even getting a background readings. I really doubt that thousands of Homeland security people would be waiting in a secret warehouse on call. I would have them working.

The audio advances but the video just freezes on his feet. I have a lot of problems with you tube videos and other embedded videos even though I’m on a FIOS 150-75 connection. Problem probably on my end.

The 20th is Hitlers birthday I think. No skin head activity lately.

Same as considering the threats in Lybia...considering it was 9/11?

Oh goody, another nutjob conspiracy theory to paint us with.

Personally I wonder how many of you are leftists deliberately running with every nutjob theory you can find.

Cass Sunstein has written about the value of conspiracy theory in manipulating the weak minded.

My local friends and I that peruse FreeRepublic have been saying for the past year or so that the conspiracy theorist b***sh** will be the downfall of this once great web forum.
There's g**d*** conspiracy theories on every thread about everything.

Sure bet the FBI now wishes that it had engaged in a little bit of conspiracy theory with respect to the brothers Chechen.

Frankly, it had occurred to me that something might happen, somewhere, on the 19th. Maybe that's why DHS was there.

Your euphemistic use of the phrase is commendable, but had they done their job...then an investigation prior to Boston utilizing the tools at their disposal wouldn't be "engaging in a conspiracy theory" it would simply be the authorities doing their job.....an investigation....because we know there was VERIFIABLE proof now of things that they should've been watching them for.
Whereas conspiracy theory crap is, as a rule, unverifiable in almost every way.

If there were strangers wandering around the fertilizer place, everyone in town would know about it in 5 seconds flat. That’s how small towns are. Driving one of those DHS vehicles anywhere other than down I35 would have stood out like, well, like a big ash DHS vehicle and people would be out taking pictures of it before it made it a block down the street. Sorry, this vid just doesn’t wash.

Aside from the obvious dates, Waco is on one of the main, if not THE main, highways through Texas. Then there’s Ft. Hood nearby. Sure, seeing one of these vehicles can lead to tin foil hat adjustment, being in Waco wouldn’t indicated a rush to buy stock in Reynold’s Wrap.

What was the timing of the first EMS call from the West Fertilizer Plant?

*************

The West Texas voluntary fire department responded about 7:30 pm CDT to the brush fire at the plant. The explosion occurred about 7:53 pm CDT. I have no idea what the trucks were the guy was filming but if I had to guess I’d say seismograph trucks. jmo/guess only.

Time line at the following link but remember the times shown are EST for some reason.

Also spent time in West years back. Several great little mom ‘n pop shops there for everything from bakeries to cafes to antique shops. Bought a table there. Very friendly people. Have wanted to return for years, but no time yet. Prayers ascend.
