FBI has had their hands tied through the efforts of “CAIR” limiting on how they conduct investigations on Moslems and follow Internet Terrorists Videos..

“Realistically, the FBI had its hands tied. Tamerlan had broken no law, nor even uttered anything that could be construed as seditious or threatening.
At this point, I would blame the Russians more than the FBI. Whatever information they shared with the feds, it wasn’t serious enough to have the FBI reopen the Tamerlan file.
I’m not ready to throw the FBI under the bus quite as enthusiastically as some members of congress appear to be doing. Twenty-Twenty hindsight is a wonderful thing and what looks to us like “dropping the ball” may very well turn out to have been proper procedures.
We saw much the same thing during the investigation into 9/11. While there was certainly negligence enough to go around, some critics pointed to straws in the wind as evidence that “warnings” went unheeded. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was an extremely minor blip on the FBI’s terror radar. From this point of view, the FBI acted properly and within the scope of the law.
“If only” is not a valid criticism.

The FBI likely was just as hesitant investigating these Islamic terrorists as the military was of investigating Major Nadal Hasan who eventually massacred so many at Ft. Hood, even though all the signs were there and Officers had stated so.

I wanted to check this out and followed the link, but the article at the end of the link has no such information. The NBC article has either changed, or this writer may be misleading on the “November 2012” warning from Russia.
It would be a big deal if there was a 2011 warning, a 2012 trip, and a 2012 second warning, but right now I’m skeptical of that second warning from Russia.

When the Russians tell you someone visiting their country for 6 months might be involved in terrorism, you just might want to keep the case open for awhile.

He must be on federal list investigated by KGB. Local authorities aren’t trusted by Feds in this part of the world, he could have connections in Dagestani police.
Ya know, its not that they werent doing anything during that time. Barry Soetotro had them looking at the wrong people...you know the white guys who go to church and have guns, people who still believe in the Constitution...those sorts. BTW its called profiling.
He was not wanted in Dagestan. That does not mean he was not watched.
The FBI is too busy taking pictures of Tea Partiers waving copies of the Constitution or the American Flag. You know, terrorists like that.

To late to lock the door now, the horse has left the barn. What ISN”T TOO LATE is to find out where these groups are all over this country, and then use some of that ammo the DHS people have been purchasing. IMO, the best way to defeat these animals is a good offense. Thus far, I haven’t, and do not expect to see one.
