Rand Paul: Hillary's Benghazi story unraveling
WND ^ | WND

Posted on 04/23/2013 5:27:43 AM PDT by JohnPDuncan

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., was “surprised” by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s sworn testimony in a Senate hearing in which she claimed that she did not know whether the U.S. mission in Libya was procuring or transferring weapons to Turkey and other Arab countries.

It was Paul who asked Clinton the question during the hearings. His inquiry focused on alleged weapons shipments out of Benghazi to arm the rebels fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio, Paul was reacting to Clinton’s testimony in light of a New York Times report last month that claimed that since early 2012, the CIA has been helping Arab governments and Turkey obtain and ship weapons to the Syrian rebels.

The plan mirrors one the Times reported in February as being proposed by Clinton herself. The Times described Clinton as one of the driving forces advocating for arming the Syrian rebels via Turkish and Arab cut outs.

The New York Times reported Clinton and then-CIA Director David Petraeus had concocted the plan, which called for vetting rebels and arming Syrian fighters with the assistance of Arab countries.

If Clinton knew about the arms transfers, she may have committed perjury during her Benghazi testimony.

Where’s.. Johnny ?!

Boehner doesn’t want a select committee to look into Benghazi so we can get to the bottom of this.

What a useless Speaker he is!!

Meanwhile, 20,000 US army rifles were stolen from a Kuwaiti warehouse.

Poof they are gone. They were certainly shipped to Turkey/Jordan , thence to Syria.

Why use decades old AK’s when good American rifles are available?

1. There is a chance (small I know) that some truth will come out.

2. It will be useful when Hillary runs for President.

I enjoyed Rand Paul telling Clinton he would have fired her if he were President.

Before I leave these earthly bonds, I hope to see her in prison for her crimes.

That’s why I left the Republican party... DC is simply the sand box for the super narcissists of western society to play in. They all will answer to God one day, “for to whom much is given, much will be required”... especially where ones decisions affects the lives of others.

Boehner is a left-wing big government New World Order socialist, so to expect him to do what is right as far as conservatives are concerned is insane. ALL of the republican leadership are part of the New World Order, we need to repeal the amendment that allows the people to elect US Senators and return it to the states as it once was.

Republicans in the house and senate are by and large New World Order socialists and will ALWAYS appear to us to cave to the desires of the left, when in FACT they support the goals of the left.

At this point people would vote for a janitor before they would vote for any of the scumbags in the Obama regime. Hillary doesn’t stand a chance if someone else with one ounce of integrity steps up. Cruz would be a decent choice given his record thus far. His chances would be good because of the voter base makeup at present.

They have a golden chance to nail Hillary if she runs for president right here, right now.

Puzzling... but then what you say kind of makes sense

“ALL of the republican leadership are part of the New World Order, we need to repeal the amendment that allows the people to elect US Senators and return it to the states as it once was.”

That’s the 17th.

I said the same thing here several months ago, and more than one freeper haughtily told me I was nuts to think such a thing.

Repealing the 17th is a double edged sword.

We wouldnt have the likes of Rand, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz...

These guys won elections.

If state houses were appointing the Senate they would probably be appointing good old boys from the state and who who are of no use?

Possibly even worse than we have now.

John Boehner, like most of the Republicans in Congress, are susceptible to blackmail. Why?

Because they fall prey to the idea that everyone in Congress is trustworthy and that they are all such good friends.

Example: Sen.Joe Manchin invited Republicans to a party on is yacht, just for a few drinks and to discuss gun legislation. After getting the pubbies liqueured up, call girls came on board. This was right before the vote on gun registration. This is how the Republicans screw themselves.

The democrats will vote for anyone with a d next to their name. Anyone.

If that person is Hillary, they'll vote for her.

If Rubio's amnesty passes and millions of new citizens with marginal english skills (and no understanding of her crimes), she'll win in a landslide.

The best we can hope for is that a democrat with integrity challenges her in their primary. But how many of those are there in the demcorat party?

Actually she never answered the question. She became animated and pretended to be confused and stumped on such a ridiculous line of questioning. But never did she give a yea, or nay.

An argument could be made that the legislators who appoint senators would be subject to un/re-relection for doing so....

Kind of like how we used to aver that the NEXT president wouldn’t be a leftist pansy....

But Big Media would object big time, and the 50+% of Americans who are more concerned with Hussein’s awesomeness and this week’s DWTS would go along with whatever Big Media wants.

Fork.... America..... RIP.
