The controversial moment SWAT teams ordered innocent neighbors out of their houses at GUNPOINT

A startling home-made video now shows the terrifying moments where Watertown residents were forced out of their homes at gunpoint as SWAT teams performed door-to-door searches as they hunted the second marathon bomber. While millions of Bostonians waited in their houses on Friday during the city-wide lockdown, the people of Watertown were faced with SWAT officers yelling at them to get out of the buildings immediately. At the time, the Boston police department and federal agents were barely criticized, but now many are concerned about the dangerous precedent that could lead to more police searches using the rationale of ‘exigent circumstances’ as an excuse.

Video is a must see. Look how these police handled this home owner. It is ridiculous. All this over a skinny 19 year old bomber. Yes he needed to be caught but this is not how it should have been accomplished

A skinny 19 year old that was discovered by a civilian when he was permitted to walk on his own property!

I saw videos of an army of police ordering people out of their homes at gun point and yelling at them to put their hands up , treating them like criminals when they had done nothing wrong

hundreds of cops raided just about every house in that town. they ordered everyone in a house out at gunpoint with their hands up. here is a video of some of the raids:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=B_Gb6i5DF9k&NR=1

they had armored vehicles, machine guns, armor etc.

all this for 1 guy

they ordered a lockdown where no one could leave their house and no one could go into their house. This is against freedom

I don't like it.

It was not the legal way.

You are to allow them in only with a search warrant.

What is wrong with America.

You are wasting your time posting this as their are far to many FReepers more than ready to embrace the new police state. Don’t you know they have declared that those who see this as wrong are guilty of what Harry Reid calls (and they agree) “imagined tyranny”.

They must of had goose bumps when N.Y. Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared today: “Constitution ‘must change’ to give government more power.

You will soon hear cries of their was no other way. It seems that all these law enforcement agencies, with all their training, expertise, experience and knowledge and all that they could come up with was a plan that required them to break their first oath and duty: “To defend and support the Constitution of the United States of America’.

You know, suicide rates are way up in this country. A lot of people have given up hope and just want to find a way to get off stage, as it were. If the police were to raid the wrong house, they could easily find some despondent person mustering up a thin grin saying, "You just made my day."

At some point, the cops in black are going to be the new redcoats. I say the day is already here, but some folks still need convincing.

"What is wrong with America."

Sodomchusetts has elected and reelected traitors for years. And now the U.S. voters have elected and reelected a traitor into the White Hut.

But the authorities saw to it that Tamerlan Tsarnaev wasn't roughly treated, and that they didn't violate his rights, in spite of the warning the Russians gave us and in spite of him fitting the terrorist profile to a tee.

5 Americans paid for their gentle handling of that man with their lives.

I think so too but there is a bright side. If it takes that many people to (not successfully) secure a small area, they are in trouble if they want to do this for real all over the country.

What is wrong with America.

Great question Christie, beats the living crap out of me too.

Saddest part is, there are a few "FReepers" who support it.
