HARRY REID: We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years. When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about the anarchists. Now, they were different than the Tea Party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that.

Full title: Reid Likens Tea Party To Anarchists, Says "Government Is Not Inherently Bad; Government Is Inherently Good"

From the Congressional Record, page S2888:

I would also talk about my friend from Oklahoma. I know he is smart, and I understand that, but just because you are smart doesn’t mean you are al- ways right. We have a situation where this country has been driven by the tea party for the last number of years. When I was in school, I studied govern- ment and I learned about the anar- chists. They were different from the tea party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government at any level, and they acknowledged that. The tea party kind of hides that. They do not say we are against government, but that is what it amounts to. They are not doing physically destructive things to buildings and people directly, but they are doing everything they can to throw a monkey wrench into any form of government, whether it is local, State, or the Federal Government. That is what it is all about. So any- thing they can do to throw a monkey wrench into the wheels of government, they are happy doing that. And I am sorry to say my friend from Oklahoma is helping them, maybe not directly but indirectly, and that is wrong. Gov- ernment is not inherently bad. Govern- ment is inherently good. That is why we have a Constitution, and we direct the activities of this government based upon that Constitution.

Just. Wow.

“Trust me. I am Harry Reid and I have the interests of the little people at heart. Even if they do stink on ice.”

Government is inherently - power, and those who seek power most aggressively are often inherently bad.

True, enough, Harry. Government is not inherently bad and none of us ever said so. Straw men creators like you are inherently bad. Lying, thieving senators like you are inherently bad. Stinking excrement is inherently bad-smelling.

Ever-”troubled” piously-fake-conerned zombie-look-alike senators are inherently bad.

“But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that.”

Hairy doesn’t know didley of the tea party or government for that matter. He certainly knows power, and can manipulate the Senate because of his power.

“they are doing everything they can to throw a monkey wrench into any form of government, whether it is local, State, or the Federal Government. That is what it is all about. So any- thing they can do to throw a monkey wrench into the wheels of government, they are happy doing that.”

Hairy just doesn’t get it as the above quote establishes. It isn’t the form of Government the tea party takes issue with, it is the Bastardization of the established Government and the destruction of the blue print in the Constitution of the United States of America. What is even more disturbing, is the propaganda in the form of lies, deceipt and distortion, that emanates from Hairy Reids mouth about things he knows nothing about, or could he really know the truth and that to him is disturbing?

Mr. Reid,
That’s funny. King George thought the original tea party was a bunch of anarchists. But that’s how the U.S. Constitution got it’s start!

Can you imagine if a Republican was in office and that happened? Intruders breaking and entering and stealing a kid at gunpoint. The libs would be screaming for impeachment. But nooo, Billy gets a pass, and a pass and a pass

markomalley~: (from the article)” We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years.”

CORRECTION :
We have a situation where this countries government in the Senate has been driven by the for the last number of years by a ‘control -freak’ Nihilist.”
We have a situation where this country’s government in the House has been driven by the for the last number of years by a Masochistic, spineless figurehead.
We have a situation where this country’s Federal government has been driven by the for the last number of years by an agenda driven leader who can’t lead , but only knows how to campaign.
We have a government with much intelligence ,... but NO COMMON SENSE !

If this country had been driven by the Tea Party for the last few years, Harry, you’d have been ridden out of Washington on a rail!

We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years.

... Wow, I must have missed that in the news.

Is Barry-O a Tea Partier now? He is a driver on this bus.

Is Dingy Harry a Tea Partier now? He is a driver on this bus.

Is Weepy Boehner a Tea Partier now? He is a driver on this bus.

Is the Senate overrun by the Tea Partiers now?

Is the House overrun by Tea Partiers now?

Is the SCOTUS overrun by Tea Partiers now?

How did I miss all this?

>>because they did not believe in government in any level<<

But yes we do Harry. Government that protects our borders, provides infrastructure....you know, all the things set forth in a lil know document to y’all called the constitution.

Government is too damn big, too damn intrusive, too damn expensive.

Harry Reid, unfortunaely, is inherently bad ~ and so are the staffers who work for him, and the other members of the Democrat leadership elite. They are all bad ~ right down to the core of their rotten beings.

"Govern- ment is inherently good."

Jefferson, Madison, Adams and Locke respectfully disagree.
