I know this is not the popular opinion here but he should have been read his Miranda rights from the git-go. He may be a dirbag terrorist, but he is a US citizen and must be afforded due process. If they can pull this crap on him they can pull it on any of us.

Nobody is shocked any more by this behavior from The Prince and Holder. Here’s what’s disturbing to me, and this applies to Benghazi and Fast & Furious as well: Are there no...NO...honest, high level career civil servants, especially in DoJ, people who have spent decades prosecuting the worst criminals and defending the Constitution, who will stand up for the truth?

Question needs to be asked: Is he interviewed for information? or Is he interviewed for his prosecution?
If they’re just trying to get info for other attacks/coconspirators, then have at it. But what do we do with him, when they’re done? He can’t be extradited.
If they’re trying to get info for prosecution, they’re done either way. If they interviewed him under the influence of any type of pain medication, then his defense will argue just that, he was under the influence and had no idea what he was saying.
If he wasn’t on pain meds, then they’ll argue that he was denied medical treatment and felt coerced....blah blah blah blah.
I’m all for sticking two spikes in his legs and connecting them to an electrical supply, like Brian Mills did to the Armenian in Taken.
But, as much as we would like it, we can’t have it both ways.
Is he a citizen? I thought he was still on a visa of some sort.
There was much discussion over whether he should be considered an “enemy combatant” and therefore not required to be ‘Miranda’d”.
If Djirtbag took the following oath with reservations, did he become a citizen?

He got his citizenship on 11 Sept 2012. He is a US citizen. I hate this azzhole with all my being, but he must be afforded due process. Again, if they can pull this crap on him, what will stop them from doing to any of us? We either stand for the Constitution 100% of the time or we don’t. You choose. I’ve already made my choice.
He became a citizen on the day of 9/11/12 and that night his brother (speed bump)’s best friend was mysteriously murdered in Waltham MA along with two other not so upstanding folks. The method?..Throat slashing...coincidink? nah....
Likely as not, he’ll be given a plea bargain,
there will be no trial, no open questioning,
no cross-examination.
The whole thing will be considered closed.
And whatever version the government wants will be the one
that goes into the official histories.

Prove that he didn’t. You can’t, and there is the problem. This sucks no matter how you slice it. He is a dirtbag murdering terrorist who also happens to be a citizen. What happens to any of us if the govt suddenly decides to classify us as terrorists? Are you gonna give up your rights because you thought it was ok for this clown to not be afforded his?
If he was declared an enemy combatant, and such determination was upheld by a hearing, he could have been tried in a military tribunal. Due processes without a Miranda warning. Even then he still could have been sent to criminal court had the Feds so chosen.
Instead, Obama chose the direct route to stopping intelligence gathering and a fast track to the slow road of endless legal rangling and appeals.
Flashback to his Gitmo days?
The conspiracy theory I have is that the judge was sent in to get him to stop talking in the event that he knew information about the Saudi Student, his activities regarding terrorism and its funding if any, and possible direct ties between the student and the White House.
This guy will end up doing some time and then he’ll be out....now it may take some time..but he’s going to walk on our streets again.
