They no longer need Gulags or firing squads since they can do it virtually with the TV. They simply destroy lives on the TV with their talk shows and keep everyone in line or discredited like they have done to Palin, Clarence Thomas or any Conservative.

This is a very important point I wish everyone would grasp. Post-modern communism incorporates every detail of the Soviet strain but virtualizes it.

As a single for instance among millions, some of us will live to see how the Obamacare death panel ends up a computer matrix that operates almost exactly (if in reverse) the way the Soviet network of psychiatric hospitals were used, to rid undesirable dissidents from society. Medical treatment? Do you have the proper political credentials to merit treatment?

Also, we have already seen them lay the groundwork for new ways of informing on fellow citizens, one White House web site devoted to it but more dangerously the propagation of formal listings of Christianity or tea party activism or gun ownership as bases of “terrorists” and such. This is today’s variation on the cult of paranoia that Stalin and Mao operated so well even against Solzenhitzyn or Lech Walesa, great men of a like we don’t have yet.

And so it goes. Leftist elites are devoted to Power and Privilege and will invoke all manner of deviousness, deceit, double-talk etc. to increase their hold on both. They have only one model for all this, provided by Marx/Engels and refined by the likes Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Gramsci, Alinsky, Castro, Ayers, Dohrn et. al.

It’s all doomed to fail but they don’t care.

I am rereading Orwell’s 1984, while I am also taking a course discussing the European world prior to World War 1. The amount of delusion that so-called intelligent people can absorb and support is not new. For example, Anarchists were celebrated in the 1890s in many countries. It is nauseating and frightening, but it happens.

We are in the middle of a massive culture war right now.

‘Popular’ culture is making too many Americans into the ‘proles’ of 1984, to use another example.

It is the guys in the background who really call the shots. Even in the administration its valjar who runs the govt., the bent axel political strategy and plouffe,jay carney and others in charge of cleaning up the damage.

Zero remains a front man who fund raises, campaigns, plays golf, with Reggie, basketball and goes on vacations with his supposed wife.

Look into eminent domain rules. My understanding is that if you have had your fence up for at least 10 years, you’ve established an easement & they can’t force you to take it down.

My sweetie had a piece of property years ago, where a neighbor came over & was getting ready to put a fence post in the middle of what was his driveway. The driveway was there when he bought the property & had been for years. He told the neighbor ‘no’ & it stuck. I hope you won’t have to pay for a lawyer, but if the other side pushes you might have to find one.

A lot of talking, huffing and puffing to make us feel like they are going to get to the bottom of the crime, then it will find a conclusion just like FAST & FURIOUS. Americans DIED in both F&F and Beghazi and no one in the media care - remember Woodward and Bernstein? This is going nowhere because Hussein is a media protected RAT. Nixon was a Conservative Republican and that made him fair game.



In truth Nixon was only threatened with Impeachment, and chose to resign. Congress had the votes for introducing the Articles. Nixon's crime is like comparing a speeding ticket to baby killer Gosnell's activities.

That is a developed tactic. It even happens here on FR, especially during election cycles or heated legislation events. Those who use the tactic do so because they are unable to defend their positions in discussions. They don’t have facts or knowledge, so they bully and become belligerent.

They are easy to spot. On FR, for example, they attack other posters (making it personal) rather than attacking the content of posts. Many of them are very adept at using the alinskyest tactics.

The tactic is especially used by the community organizer types, the progressives, the Liberals, and those pushing PC agenda issues.

Lenin wrote extensively about this tactic in State and Revolution and other pamphlets. It’s de rigeur for today’s Left to codify the “truth” of their positions in hysterical shouts. And nothing better accommodates the big loud lie like cable TV.

This “progressive” thing is an oldie but goodie dating back to Wilson and his manner of knitting his liberal view to emerging Marxism in the early 20th century.

I used to regularly browse a communist bookshop in the 1960s and “Progressive” was all over the publications back then too. I noticed that rich liberal women always seemed to like the word, too, for some reason.

To me its dog whistle stuff. The poetics are sterile and faux scientific.
