After three hours of noticeably civil debate and personal, sometimes emotional speeches, the Minnesota House passed a bill Thursday, May 9, that would make it legal for same-sex couples to marry.
The bill is scheduled for a vote Monday in the Senate, where leaders have said they have the votes to approve it. Gov. Mark Dayton has said he will sign it.
If approved, the law would make Minnesota the 12th state in the nation to allow gay and lesbian couples to marry. It would take effect Aug. 1.
The House vote was 75-59. All but two of the 73 Democrats voted in favor of the bill. They were joined by four Republicans.

I’m not surprised consider who they put in the US Senate and who they made governor.
There really only needs to be a few who come together WITH God to undo and stop this mess. But I sometimes think if it’s to stop at all... it won’t be in the timming we imagine....nor in the manner we think.

I absolutely agree with you. As a former resident in Minnesota I can tell you I am glad to be out of there.
They may sin for a season on this earth, but the Lord has the last word on this. No matter how appealing satan tries to make it otherwise.

Instead of making comments about what you perceive “God caused or allowed” you might want to become familiar with Scripture. IF you read and understood the Bible, you would then understand that SATAN is the god of this world. SATAN rules the planet. SATAN hates humans because they are God’s creation. SATAN is the one who is doing all this on earth. He is the route cause of it all. Now, if you understood all this, you would understand that God “allows” things to happen. If he prevented Satan from doing all he is capable of doing, then this earth would be TOTALLY under Satan reign. He would CONTROL everything. But, he does not, because God is in control. Because we are a fallen world, Satan controls the earth. He will until Christ comes back at His 2d Coming. You make the same mistake that everyone who does not know Christ makes. You BLAME God for everything that goes wrong on this earth. Everything that goes wrong is because of a cursed and fallen earth and fall man. You have to read and understand the Bible. If you are not a Believer and do not understand the Book, then you will continue to blame God for everything. That is as simple as I can explain it to you.

Being from Minnesota, according many in my family and friends, I am now a knuckle-dragging, intolerant, bigotted, insensitive, hater that is frightened of the equality of gays, I cannot understand how love in a homosexual relationship can be the same as a heterosexual relationship, and that that is the only reason to have a marriage, I don’t understand the Bible because really it supposedly only prohibited promiscuity, and not gay marriage, and Sodom and Gomorrah was was akin to an Aesop’s fairy tail...
I’m told its about time that I saw things in a clear light...
I guess there are so many things I need to learn to get my mind right.
What we have hear, is a failure to communicate.
