Ed Show Sweeps IRS Conservative-Targeting Under Table: 'Much Ado About Nothing'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 05/12/2013 7:56:36 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

New day and time, same old liberal slop. Ed Schultz returned to MSNBC yesterday in his new, relegated-to-the-ratings-desert slot of weekend afternoons.

One of the topics was the targeting by the IRS of conservative organizations seeking tax-exempt status. Predictably, Schultz & Co. did all they could to sweep the scandal under the carpet. Schultz suggested the IRS had nothing to apologize for, while the ever-prolix Michael Eric Dyson actually claimed it was "much ado about nothing," and was even willing to diss President Obama's power, saying he lacked the "juice" to have ordered the IRS attacks.

Let the hyprocrite ‘tard have his show. Its far more important what the politically unengaged think than the spastic left, and most Americans hate the IRS.

I noticed the Cable ratings the other day and it appears that ALL the MSNBC weekday shows trail Fox, CNN, Comedy Central and Headline News. If I were a Comcast Stockholder, I would begin to question the wisdom of the Board of Directors in accepting this mediocrity. As far as Ed in the weekend....Who Cares?

The MS in MSNBC stands for Microsoft. Just wonder if Bill Gates, the country’s most successful entrepreneur and capitalist, has some sort of weird geek sense of humor by financing this clown parade. Or perhaps he has some deep conflicted guilt about his success and wealth.

What Newsbusters should be doing with guys like Schultz et al is minimize them doing a who’s listening by posting their rating numbers. Rather than their doing a counterpoint presentation with a link to them.

MSNBC back in the mid-90s, when it debuted, was a completely different network. It was supposed to be some sort of TV/online experiment. I remember that it was mostly just boring news stories that went on for about 10 minutes each.

This may be the first ever time that a review of a TV show generates MORE viewers than those who actually watched the show...

Special Ed needs to be audited and scrutinized by the IRS. He’ll find out what “nothing” really is.

Michael Eric Dyson actually claimed it was "much ado about nothing," and was even willing to diss President Obama's power, saying he lacked the "juice" to have ordered the IRS attacks.

Theoretically true.

But everyone knows that if the a politically appointed IRS Commissioner calls a director and says check out this organization carefully that the director is going to call a manager who is going to call supervisor who is going to call a case officer doing the review of the organization’s application and what should have been a simple review will suddenly become an in depth anal probing.

All of those layers of middle management will make getting to the root of the malfeasance difficult which is exactly what Obama and the Congressman wanted when they made the request for IRS investigations.

They had to move Mister Ed to weekends because more and more of the prison inmates they were showing on weekends were too ashamed to be shown on MSNBC.

He would say the same about Stalin’s genocide, much as our ambassador back then agreed that torture and execution made sense for those people that made their ‘revolution’ more difficult by opposing certain policies.

That’s why these people are extremely dangerous.

I have to add a personal grievance against the bureaucratic sob’s who work at the IRS in Ogden Utah. After my wifes death I called asking about an extension on filing my return. The a-hole who took my call said (I was a practicing MD). he said “you are a doctor, you must not be any good if you cannot send us a check” Not believing my ears, I said what did you say? Answer “you heard me doc, you are no good”. I slammed the phone down without getting his name. I vowed to never contact these @#$$#@ again. Such is the crap that is in the IRS

The Obama-era press has been permananently tarnished by its actions - or LACK of actions - in this era of astounding administrative corruption as they collectively bend over backwards to lick Obama’s *ss.
