this is just wonderful - as a subset of the terrible context. I’d love to cast his horoscope and see what transits he’s having - sounds like Saturn, and those last a long time - but...don’t know where and when he was born. Oh well.

Dropping all the other stuff as the Benghazi cover-up is unraveling makes you wonder how bad it could be. The IRS finally gave it up on the politically motivated audits and the Justice Dept. gave it up on the AP phone records so basically elements of the administration threw out these other two scandals which had been percolating in the background for years and may have remained there. Now the media is running in all directions.

Who was behind the East Anglia e-mail leak?

Nobody knows for sure. There's plenty of theories.

Who are these “some people”?

Them.

The AP flap is the one that’s a head-scratcher for me. Media types are Obama’s most fervent supporters as they remained nestled at his feet in total fealty since day one. Were they suspicious of a clandestine movement to slip the truth through the guarded gates into the sunlight, causing the regime to fear disloyalty?

This formerly great country is turning more soviet every day.

Them? 007 and M or possibly a rogue IMF team? If this was a movie it couldn’t have been better.

Seriously though, He and his administration have pissed off and pissed on a whole lot of scarily competent people over the last four and half years.

Was just about to post that. If that pic doesn’t clearly show what an incompetent boob he is, I don’t know what does.

You nailed it. Mega scale distractions, but distractions nonetheless. Benghazi is bigger than inept leadership followed by bald-faced lies.

Gun running? One piece of the Caliphate puzzle? A botched attempt to make a hero out of Obama? Obama too stoned to deal with it? Obama above his paygrade and just not giving a damn?

The media — or the person in the media who wants to go down in history as Obama’s Woodward/Bernstein — needs to focus like a laser on Benghazi.

I went to bed last night believing Obama was the Teflon dictator. I had read some liberal comments on the Washington Post’s stories. Nothing was ever going to come back to the great and powerful Ozbama. This morning, I’m reading the comments on the articles in the NY Times and there are clearly some outraged, disheartened libs out there. For the first time since 0’s been reelected, I feel optimistic.
