The IRS and the Obama administration are coming under fire for targeting conservative groups — but a new report indicates at least one pro-life group faced discrimination as well.
The Internal Revenue Service has issued an apology to conservative groups that it targeted in the lead up to the 2012 presidential election. The move is seen by many conservatives as the Obama administration doing post-election damage control after infringing on the rights of citizens groups.

I do not believe Obama is behind each of the incidences.
He may be involved in some, maybe not - but to my point: our Government is already filled with leftists with a firm ideology on the role of Government and its role in social engineering. they are anti-conservative and have the will to act on their own without direction.
It is a positive feedback loop of Government worker self-interest and ideology. The bigger more activist Government becomes, the more leftists find a role in it and the more Government becomes ideologically one-sided.
If he wasn’t involved, he certainly could come out and say the IRS acted stupidly.
On the mark, they knew whom they were hiring. A nod and a wink along with a free copy of Alinskys “Rules for Radicals". At that point everything was in place.

Which is precisely why this issue has greater attention than Benghazi. Obama is liable for Benghazi, not the AP issue. The AP issue is a diversion where Obama can't get hurt.

Clinton said Monica and her mother were mentally unstable... and he was trying to 'minister to her'... Turned out he was using the slander of 'mental illness' to control his victim.

That's a good point. Unfortunately though, the important issue is the growing power of the Federal Bureaucracy, and the fact that most Government bureaucrats holding that power are ideologically leftist. This has effected, and will increasingly effect everything every American does.

Believing Obama didn’t know about or instigate this is as naïve as believing Tonya Harding didn’t instigate the attack on Nancy Kerrigan prior to the 1994 Olympics.

Even if Sarah were in the White House, the Federal bureaucracy would still be ideologically leftist - and most would hate her and probably try to hinder her decisions. I agree that fewer would misbehave, but my point is, the ideology of the majority of Federal workers, especially in DC but in other regional offices as well, is already established. The environment under Obama is indeed more permissive, but they do not need direction from above to act on their ideology.

Exactly. I yammered away on several threads yesterday...look to the federal unions and their undying loyalty to get 0bama elected in both 2008 & 2012. No order ever needed to emanate from the administration, because the 'regime' was on the case.

You are mostly correct despite the rancorous post made after yours. Government is largely populated by college graduates with degrees in LGBT Studies, The History of Women Pearl Divers, Homosexuality in Incan Legend and other such nonsense and are indoctrinated lefties. Obama encourages their behavior and Palin would discourage it. To what extent Obama actually participated is yet to be determined.
