Jon Stewart Continues Piling on Scandal-Plagued Obama: He’s Either Nixon or Mr. Magoo
Fox Nation ^ | 16 May 2013

Posted on 05/16/2013 8:00:30 AM PDT by mandaladon

For the third night in a row, Jon Stewart was unrelenting in going after the Obama administration for the multiple scandals it’s been caught up in. Stewart admitted that after piling on Fox News for so long for overreacting to every little thing Obama does, they finally have something to be justifiably angry about, and could not begrudge them their moment of outrage. Stewart even agreed that President Obama could have acted like Richard Nixon, but if he wasn’t directly involved, it’s still bad because that makes him Mr. Magoo.

Stewart recapped the “shitstorm that is rocking the Obama administration” with Jay Carney getting pummeled by the press “for our entertainment purposes.” Stewart admitted that this is a good week for conservatives, and comically forced himself to come out with the words that conservatives are right to be outraged.

Bill Press has called on him to fire Eric Holder. Chunks of the dam will start falling any minute now.

Dear Jon,
Conservatives aren’t the only ones who are right to be outraged - EVERY CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!!!

Even when he is supposedly giving it to “O” he has to end with a litany on Rumsfeld and Chaney......it's just who they are!!!

No. And they aren’t all young either. They actually think Jon Stewart is middle of the road! Such people will be perpetural huckleberries for the likes of Stewart and other democrat pundits who pretend to be comics. And why we let them be pretend comics while they proclaim Rush is a political commentator who should be silenced baffles me. They get to have it both ways, but then that’s what liberalism is all about, having it both ways.

Jay Carney getting pummeled by the press

I heard some talking head say that Jay Carney needs to go, because he's lost all credibility with the white house press corpse.

Ummmm.... Jay Carney isn't just going out in front of the press corpse and making stuff up. He's the spokesman for the President and the regime. Sort of like "The Mouth of Sauron." Carney is simply repeating the official line of the regime: So if Carney has no credibility with the press corpse, one would think they'd be smart enough to figure out that it's the regime that has no credibility.

It does matter what Jon Stewart says (even when he reluctantly agrees with “us”). Many young people get their political views through him. Need to underestand him to be able to fight for our conservative views

Sadly, this is really true. I remember in my teens and even into my 20’s if someone who I respected more than myself said something, I tended to believe it. When I was a freshman, seniors were gods. ;-)

That reminds me, as Rush was saying, no one will impeach a black (or close enough) president. No one.

Assuming that’s true, that no one in current leadership is going to sign off on something like that, how to make these messes go away without hurting the big progressive picture...hmmm...

There’s President Joe,

***
You know, this attitude just annoys me. We CAN impeach him, and we SHOULD, if he’s done something that warrants impeachment! I do not care about his race and neither should anyone else.

These people want REAL EQUALITY??? Then THEIR black president gets impeached if he deserves it, just as any white president would. That’s REAL EQUALITY!!

Do they really want it? Do they really want to play with the big boys, in the big sand box?? Then they learn to take their lumps when they deserve it!! The trouble is ...they, and Obama, want to “play” president, but not really “be” president. ..this is their root problem.

Being a real man, being a real leader, being a productive member of society ....has its perks. It also has its costs. If it’s genuine, and you’re genuinely meant to do it .you will also carry the burdens as well as enjoy the perks.

Impeach his sorry as*.

If you could care less, then that means you care about what Stewart says. So do you or don’t you care? If you don’t care at all, the proper expression is “I couldn’t care less.”

Words mean stuff.

Actually that form, although logically contradictory, is quite common. It’s a Yiddish thing.

For the last 5+ years we have watched with disgust as the MSM, who thinks of themselves as sooooo smart, defend the stupidity of BO. I always wondered if at some point in time, the MSM would have to think, “I just can’t do this anymore.”

Why just protect Hillary when you have the chance to make a hero out of her?

Not sure how to do it, but she could step up, look ‘presidential’ (not hard these days), and the adoring throngs would lap it up.

But hard not to alienate the Obama ‘true believers’. Someone mentioned Kennedy...at this point, I want Obama to stay right where he is. He trots out a liar daily to tell the press stuff that no one believes. Stonewall. Deflect. Take zero responsibility. These are his best days.

My version is that Obama wants to “be” president; he doesn’t want to “do” president.
