ORLANDO SENTINEL – Former U.S. Rep. Allen West has a new job as a Fox News contributor, the cable channel announced Thursday.
West, a staunch and vocal Republican tea party favorite, will offer political commentary across various daytime and prime-time programs, said Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming for the network.
“Representative West’s congressional and military experience along with his fearless approach to voicing key issues will provide a valuable point of view to the FOX News lineup,” Shine said.
Welcome aboard, Lt. Col. West!
Can’t wait to see him disassemble Colmes & Beckel.
Would prefer to see him in the role of Lieutenant governor.

He will get more media coverage at Fox and can run for Senate or get an appt with the next Rep Pres as secy of Defense!
I will look forward to hearing him. He means what he says, and says what he means, in a calm and rational manner.

Although I love the FNC program “The Five”, I would love to see Allen West on that show!!! But.....at the end of the day.....I am just plain overjoyed that Allen West has joined the FNC Team!!!
Florida needs him. Governor Scott needs him.
Colmes and Beckel together are no match for Allan.
Beckel, the extortion target of some whore he paid, and Colmes who never found a terrorist he could not find something nice to say about, would be such easy targets of opportunity for West, if he did appear with them, there would have to be something akin to a catch and release policy in his employment contract.
Colmes and Beckel, and don’t forget Juan!
West can disect them all, then call them racists for disagreeing with him.
As I’ve posted before, just hope they didn’t hire him to stifle him (Sarah Palin).

And when Beefy Beckel gets huffy, LTC West should reply, “Okay, Bob, let’s drop and do some pushups, you and me. Let’s see who can do more.”

According to liberals us older white folks don’t like Black people yet millions of white Tea Party members like and respect him and would vote for him. Why? Because we’re NOT judging him by his skin color but by his character, history, and experience. So suck it’ libs...
What in the world are you smoking? I can think of literally dozens who appear on Fox that are demonstrably more conservative than those found on any other network.
The incessant railing on FR against Fox amazes me. One, just one, network is conservative , so conservatives trash it? Do we live in a mirrored dimension?
I don’t think they’ll stifle him, or even be able to.
The tides are slowly, gently turning for Obama, and increasingly, voices like West’s are seen as “acceptable”, not to mention commonsensical.
It’s a good new job for him, and possibly a springboard for
re-entering politics when the time is right (sooner rather than later)
