I'm neutral on Issa, not saying he's perfect, but I think he played this one right.
Lerner will be back in the hot seat, I am confident. A lot of her colleagues will be singing, in the meantime; you can bet the Committee will use their testimony to nail HER.

So am I. Seeing/hearing what Lois did, '5th/while claiming innocence' combined with the other two PLUS 'what happened' - is where my focus is - and not trying to be in the mind of Issa. That's nuts!
And the next thing I focus on are those in the Tea Party, audits they may have had to succumb to, invasive questions they had to answer, and money they lost if lawyers needed to be involved plus the years of anguish they had to go through with 'trying their best to do something FOR our country - it was denied them when our country needed it the most.
Issa isn't even on the radar screen - but a committee who wants to get to the truth. Not ALL the committee, but most of them. Issa's intentions are good, I have no doubt about that, but even with the best intentions - evil has it's other minions behind the scenes doing dirty deeds in it's quest of making sure good does not accomplish it's goal.
I've witnessed too many 'good' being entrapped by what evil offers them - so this is a wait and see while hoping for the best for our country.

She made herself ripe for the nailing, that's for sure! She knows it, also, the reason for her pleading the 5th, IMO. I believe she's hoping it will all blow over somehow - like the committee will be satisfied because they have 'plans for the future' so 'the lowly worker' won't do it, again. She's hoping the BS works! I think orange will add some color to her.
