“[T]his threat is not new,” Obama said. “But technology and the Internet increase its frequency and lethality.”

Obama warned Americans that materials on the Internet could influence people to commit terrorist acts.

“Today, a person can consume hateful propaganda, commit themselves to a violent agenda and learn how to kill without leaving their home,” he said.

To combat domestic terrorism, Obama reminded Americans that it was important to reach out to Muslim communities.

and then odiously Blames the Internet.

Why this is another Kinsley gaffe - Obama implying that the threat of terrorism is primarily Muslim.

Not white supremacist.

Not fundamentalist Christian.

Not anti-government fanatic.

Not eco-fanatic.

Muslims.

The best way to prevent violent extremism is to work with the Muslim American community -- which has consistently rejected terrorism -

Can someone point me to examples of the Muslim American community rejecting terrorism? Seriously. The only time I hear about it is when the president (be it Obama or Bush) or some MSM talking head tells me that they have rejected terrorism. When I see a "representative" of the Muslim community on TV, he or she usually is bitching and moaning about how other Americans are persecuting Muslims, or screaming into a loud speaker about beheading those who insult Islam.

and an American regime that openly promotes, finances, and send the very latest weaponry to Islamicterroristas overseas, and which continues to import them en mass into USA,
and where our esteemed leader is on record extolling the Muslim prayer call as “most beautiful sound on earth”

none of the above tends to encourage or validate the same or similar attitudes or actions by other individuals in society?

I get it. Great! We will all be just FINE now. /s

And that's how the Boston bombings will be classified by the government, domestic terrorism.

Yeah, like that reaching out with meat cleavers and knives to behead that UK soldier. Our so-called president is a total unequaled ass, reading words written for him by his handlers. None of these words came from this doofus.

My prayers are for the UK soldier who was brutally slaughtered by a member of "the kind and loving Muslim communities." Obama . . . you can go to hell.

BS AND balony!

What you learn about terrorism can also be HELPFUL in that people can be aware of tactics used, which can save lives.

What you DO with what you learn is the important thing. Just because you learn it doesn’t mean you have to DO it!

This man is a total forking idiot and somebody really needs to take HIS voice out of print so we don’t have to be exposed to such stupidity.

0bama is correct that the Internet makes it easier for murderous Islamist thugs to plan and commit murderous Islamist thuggery (not that 0bama deserves credit for being correct - it’s an obvious point). But the correct solution is obviously not to control or restrict the Internet, it’s to control, restrict and kill the murderous Islamist thugs.
