“t’s 2013 and we got a black plant in the WH that fancies himself as vladimir lenin .....”

I could not have stated that any better.
I frequently refer to Obozo’s Marxist/Leninist/Communist ideology....like father, like son.

“It is very hard for me not to have mixed emotions about Savage.
I get a bit tired of his self-aggrandizement and disrespect
for other talkers”

not to mention his disrespect to the callers

when he is good he is very very good when he is bad he is very very bad

I definitely have mixed emotions too-practically bipolar at times

I know what you mean, Cruz is a senator. But guess what.. you do not have to be a member of Congress to be Speaker of the House. I don't think that Savage had that in mind though. Mistakes happen.. you try speaking ten hours a week on radio. :)

From a wiki source: The Constitution provides that the House may choose its own Speaker. Although not explicitly required by the Constitution, every Speaker has been a member of the House.

I guess they are referring to Article 1, Section 2. Simply, "The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; and shall have the sole power of impeachment."

I'd heard this a long time ago and recently a certain constitutional expert verified it after he checked.

I'll take this opportunity to change the subject to something that I couldn't post the day it happened. It's something some talk show hosts do all the time and it's a pet peeve of mine.

"We have met the enemy and he is us." Pogo. Walt Kelly.

I posted months ago that years ago Savage claimed that he coined that sentence "We have met the enemy and he is us". He repeated the claim Thursday (22 May) in the second hour at 45mins to 50mins (IRCC).

If this link has correct information then Savage had to be seven or eight years old and someone stole his idea for book title.

Savage is not the only one, of course.

For all the great things these radio host folks say and write they cannot do simple research? The kind that we ne'er-do-well lazy, worthless, ineffectual, unsuccessful, uneducated, completely lacking in merit, good-for-nothing, hats-on-backwards, porn-craving, dregs of humanity listeners have done maybe once or twice in our worthless lives? :)

Both Levin and Savage have their value and the radio talkie scene is better off because they are there. I listen to the guy and more often than not he comes up with another angle or subject nobody else covers. Plus when members of the armed forces they are facing hokum charges he’s right there with the fresh .Those are some of the reasons including menu changes and nonsequiturs Levin complains about is why he’s where he’s at.

But he does run off and when he does he’s off my set .

The two of them are like two different antivirus programs that attack the enemy from different approaches. Both are very affective.

Howie is the best. This is a depressing time. Howie makes light of this political mess.

Savage has been great! Sean and Rush are good with a Democrat in Office but when a Republican gets in the oval office they become rump swabs, but Howie and mostly his listeners make light of it all and take him (Howie) to task.

The problem with all of them is that the hate Libertarians.
To become national (other than Savage) you must denounce Libertarians,,, you know you must become a New York City ,,, butt kisser.

Stormism #1: The same people we kicked out of this country 200 Years ago are running it now.

Good points on Savage. He is a Patriot,,, and he does Gods work, but if you don't praise him,,, no problem, he will praise himself.

That said, they (you know “They”) do try to crap on him like a bronze statue in Central park.

So to do Political lightweight,,, listen to Howie.

I have heard of Howie Carr, but have never heard his program.
I have not even heard it mentioned.
My political talkers are pretty much limited to Rush and Savage, which are recorded for me on www.dar.fm.

Howie is on WRKO Boston, and that is available on smart phone aps. Or Howie carr dot com.
One of the many reasons I enjoy the show is that he takes this mess we're in and pokes fun at it.
His callers are the best in talk radio (I was shocked that this is the case but it is true) and once a week Anne Coulter comes in, Colonel David Hunt, Pat Buchanan, all of the New England political figures, the daily chump line, the death pool. It's a hoot.
And we do revel in the fact that the last 4 Speakers of the State house ,,, are in jail.
It beats crying about the state of politics.
