Absolutely true on all fronts. I’ve devoted ten years of leadership and my two sons are at the cusp of reaching the pinnacle. Two years ago, I had the honor of being able to start a new troop and we’ve introduced 18 boys to the fun. I’m not ready to give that up just yet. OTOH, I’m also on the periphery of a group of Godly men who are creating the framework of a new group to continue the legacy that BSA has given up on.
I also hope that BSA will see what they have wrought and take the difficult step of reversal and standing again for righteousness.
I to have decided, for the moment anyway, to continue on and push the BSA to return to the values it has turned on.
They have pushed the homosexual agenda to the front and I intend to push back.
Can/will new groups allow members to use their BSA achievements and continue building on them?
