Perhaps you have a bias showing. Your speculation runs counter to the support LDS provided to pass CA Prop 8.
It is happening in every institution in this country and nobody says a word because it doesn’t affect them, yet.
Sadly, too many folks simply deny history.

What the rank and file want and do isn’t necessarily the same thing as that of the leadership.

Romney single handedly enforced the MA Supreme Courts order on gay marriage, the one the legislature was ignoring. He could have ignored it too. But he didn’t.

Mormans are not to be trusted. They corrupted the Bible and believe a drunkard named Joe Smith sits at the right hand of God. They put him on the same level as the Apostle Paul.
They also believe in aborting children if you don’t like who the father is, i.e, rape and incest, and have accepted the homosexual lifestyle. Yes I know they fought against queer marriage in California, but that was a few years ago. The director of the BSA is a Morman, and I guarantee you the main reason they sold out to the sodomites was because he supported the sell-out. The Morman Church so far is the only Church that has came out and from day one said they agreed with the sodomite takeover. I too am suspect they want queer “marriage” passed in the Supreme Court now, because they know that’s their only hope to bring back a half dozen wives for their male Mormans. The Mormans have gone the way of the Episcopalians. Liberal as the day is long.
The mormons went with the change, that’s how. They were the vote difference.

Where is the information on the voting process and how people voted? Nobody is discussing the actual event.
