Poll: President Obama job approval rating down (Tricky Barack down to 45%)
Politico ^ | Mat 3o, 2013 | Kevin Cirelli

Meanwhile, 76 percent of American voters think an independent prosecutor should investigate the IRS controversy, including 63 percent of Democrats, 88 percent of GOPers and 78 percent of independents.

“There is overwhelming bipartisan support for a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. “Voters apparently don’t like the idea of Attorney General Eric Holder investigating the matter himself, perhaps because they don’t exactly think highly of him. Holder gets a negative 23 - 39 percent job approval rating.”

It can't go any lower.

That's the 45% that knows nothing about anything except government checks.

Someone should take this article and shove it down Boehners throat! The republicans are going to sit on all the scandals in hopes of using them for the next election, so it is going to be schlepped along until they are ready to use it.

The republicans are going to screw it up again.

Defeating John Boner is Job #1 for the Tea Party IMO.
Even if that means we all have to move to his district and vote for the Democrat.

Who says you can't polish an Obama? This one kept its shine long enough for two elections. Still wondering if it's possible to pick up an Obama by the clean end.

Interesting note: less than half of those who approve of the communist feel strongly about their approval; more than three fourths of those who disapprove feel strongly about that disapproval.

Let’s not forget all the bed-wetting white liberals who hate the skin they were born in.

Obama is irrelevant at this point. He is the lamest of lame ducks and the Nixon comparisons grow by the day.

The big news here is the overwhelming support for a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS. Holder is a highly unpopular and should be an albatross around every Democratic candidate in 2014. The GOP should be making the case that the IRS will be the enforcement arm of Obamacare at every opportunity. And yet, I see no concerted effort in this direction at all. We are rudderless.

I think it’s nonsense to follow this approval rating. The public is not going to turn on him. We are exactly where we were 1 year ago thinking that 4 years of a dreadful economy would keep him from being reelected. WRONG! We were all wrong!

This guy can do anything he wants to. We have tipped to the point of no peaceful return. Most of the American public are idiots.

I estimate that he has less than 60 days to get anything done. When the Congress returns from its summer recess (Labor Day), the jockeying for 2014 will commence. Democrats running for re-election in red and purple states will be sprinting away from Obama.

Tea Party class action lawsuits are going to bring the federal bureaucracy to its knees. Gridlock will reign supreme.

And, if any other economic collapse is an indicator,
the left will successfully blame conservatives and anyone that has ANYTHING at all (the rich)
for the collapse

and turn a blind eye to criminal behavior as being “justified” against “the rich”.

Be armed, have a plan.

Obama is irrelevant at this point. He is the lamest of lame ducks and the Nixon comparisons grow by the day.

Assuming the rule of law still applies to Obama and his Marxist machine. You should go back and read about Louisiana politics during the days of populist Governor, Huey P. Long. He ran the state as his private fiefdom, treated state property as his own for purposes of profit taking (his heirs still receive oil and gas royalties from state lands, through no risk leases which he granted to himself), treated state funds as his own for purposes of buying political support for himself and his cronies, and could pass virtually any desired legislation through machine control of the state government apparatus. He would destroy his political opponents through the state court system, regulatory agencies, and legislation. And when the day came that he determined to do the same thing at the NATIONAL level, he used his machine to secure the US Senate for himself (as a stepping stone to the Presidency), WHILE STILL RULING LOUISIANA THROUGH CRONIES WHOM HE WOULD RAISE TO THE GOVERNORSHIP.

Fortunately, Long was assassinated on the capital steps by a physician whose family Long had ruined. Otherwise, the Long dynasty might have gone far.

Obama has built the same type of pay to play populist machine - but at the national level. I will be very surprised if he goes quietly. If the Dem's win through voter fraud, etc in 2014, Obama will find a way to stay.
