MSNBC's Michael Eric Dyson: Eric Holder "Is The Moses Of Our Time"
Real Clear Politics Video (at source) ^ | May 30, 2013 | NA

Posted on 05/30/2013 10:34:04 PM PDT by neverdem

MARTIN BASHIR: Professor, we heard Mr. Sensenbrenner (R-WI) say the Attorney General should step down. Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) is also calling for resignation. Of course, he did that two years ago over Fast and Furious. Is this actually going to lead to something, do you think, or just more of the same, more continuous calls for the Attorney General to stand down?

MICHAEL ERIC DYSON: I think the Attorney General should step down too -- off of the plateau where he represents on high principle and whip some heads. But he shouldn't give up his office. What he should understand is that he is the chief law giver of the United States so to speak. He's the Moses of our time and at least for this administration...

Eric Holder “Is The Moses Of Our Time”
***Hopefully that means he’ll be spending the next 40 years tending sheep after running away from the palace for killing some nondescript guard.

He is already 'tending' the goats, not likely the sheep would recognized his call. So you got issues with Moses?

Not particularly, just looking for parallels that would be unflattering for Holder.

Well, IF one is going to use 'Moses' it cannot be ignored that God picked him to be 'saved' from the baby killer Pharaoh. Had him 'educated' by the best and brightest of that day. AND used him to establish the law to govern the 'promise land'. I know of no useful correlation or analogy to this mixed up impostor.

***The most useful correlation I could come up with was the one that sent Holder into the desert herding sheep for 40 years, pondering the soul he had murdered.

Michael Eric Dyson is merely demonstrating that race trumps common sense.

We’ve seen it so, so many times before with this racist Obama administration.

Your writing style seems to ‘suggest’ inclinations towards ‘sarcasm’ AND overemphasis on certain defensiveness. I will demonstrate.

Well, IF
***Why is IF in CAPITAL LETTERS? It denotes something, but it is not certain until someone asks you directly: why the capital letters? And what’s the point of designating that you’re headed into a conditional argument since the title of this article already says ‘Eric Holder “Is The Moses Of Our Time”’ ???

one is going to use ‘Moses’
***Why do you put ‘moses’ in quotes? What is the point you are trying to make? And why be so subtle about making the point? Usually ‘quotes’ denotes sarcasm.

it cannot be ignored that God picked him
***OK, but what does that have to do with choosing an analogy that puts Eric Holder in an unflattering light? Was Eric Holder “picked by God”? Again, what is the ‘point’ you’re trying to make and why be so subtle about it?

be ‘saved’
***Why is this word in quotes? It usually denotes sarcasm. What point are you trying to make? Why make it so complicated?

from the baby killer Pharaoh. Had him ‘educated’
***Again, why the quotes? Is Eric Holder not educated, or in this case, ‘educated’?

by the best and brightest
***Certainly debatable in Eric Holder’s case, but that’s just a side note.

of that day. AND
***Why is AND in ALL CAPS? Trying to make some special emphasis here?

used him to establish the law to govern the ‘promise land’.
***again, why the ‘quotes’? By this time your conditional statement is so lengthy that it obscures whatever point you were trying to make. Are you saying that Eric Holder is doing a good job “establishing the law” and “governing our fine ‘promised land’”???

I know of no useful correlation or analogy to this mixed up impostor.
***You just read the one that I posted. Perhaps you didn’t comprehend it, or else why would you say, after reading it, that you know of no useful analogy? Basically, after all the complications you entered, it appears that you just said that if someone’s gonna use Moses... you “know of no useful correlation or analogy to this mixed up impostor”. The title of the article uses Moses, so suggesting somehow that to use Moses as a correlation is improper... well, that’s just ridiculous. So, then what are we left with after all your complications? It’s probably something along the lines of... you like Moses a lot, and you don’t like Holder much. To compare the 2 in such a way to even put Holder in an unflattering light somehow triggers this thing where you find the need to say you know of no useful correlation.

Perhaps that’s because is such a crappy individual. On that we can agree. Now, wasn’t that simple?

Only God can kill the soul. Moses was defending his own brethren. That is not premeditated homicide. It was his own brethren that ridiculed him out of Egypt. Apparently it took 40 years for Moses to 'study' to rid the liberalism of the Pharaoh to be ready to lead the people out of bondage. Moses did have a bunch of hard heads on his hands when they did get freed. Seems that might be a better analogy, liberalism has been with us since the devil rebelled.

God elected Moses. To contrast and compare Houlder to Moses implies that God elected Houlder. (Yes, I know I spelled it wrongly, but it means that the data collectors searching for unrepentant rebels would have to make a second run to fill my file folder.) Anyway, anybody and everybody can read for them self the reasons for the election of Moses.

Pray tell then what would be the reasons for God giving US Houlder? God sure liked and depended upon Moses to not only survive a baby killer but to then lead the people out of bondage. So what is not to like? Perhaps you can tell me something anything Godly Houlder has accomplished?

I am pleased that my writing style made you think/question. (sarcasms notwithstanding)

Eric Holder is not the problem.

The problem is in the White House.

Getting rid of Holder will only place another Obama flunky in as Attorney general.

It’s likely things like that causes MSNBC ratings to slide. I saw a poll yesterday that showed they are now totally in the toilet with ratings now challenging CNN for the bottom spot.
Who wants to watch idiots spread such idiocy? Even their idiot audience is changing the channel

Another idiotic, clueless libtard. MICHAEL ERIC DYSON, you sir are an ignorant ass. The Attorney General is NOT the Chief law "giver," he is the law enforcer.

And in this, he has completely and utterly failed. And he has done so with a will, because, like you, he THINKS he is the law giver. In this nation, under the constitution he swore to uphold, the people who make or "give" the laws is the Congress.

That is why they are questioning him you twit. He is BREAKING THE LAW!

Jeez...God save us from these nincompoops and traitors.
