Russell Brand is best known as a British comedian and TV/film star, who, in addition to co-starring in the upcoming animated film "Despicable Me 2," is also a Solzhenitzyn-quoting, part-time essayist. In the wake of the barbaric beheading of a soldier in London, Brand wrote an essay in The Sun called "Blame this on madness...not Muslims."
Dean was particularly touched by the effort to defend the Muslim community from the ugly passions stirred by group blame. Brand's perspective is that mental illness is more at fault in the attack than the influence of radical Islam and that root causes must be analyzed, as well.

You’re over-analyzing this; the Muslims are breeding the children this traitor sells his movies/entertainment to (sort of like our fast-food chains stocking increasingly Mexican menu items - they are the customers now, since we’ve stopped breeding).
When the US government approached Colombia about collaborating in fighting their drug problem, the Colombian government rightly replied that Americans had the drug problems - Colombians just had problems with providing them.

He makes my skin crawl. I imagine he’s filthy, smelly, never brushes his teeth or washes his hair. With his history of heroin addiction and alcoholism his brain probably looks like swiss cheese.
I really liked him in that Gladiator movie though.

I think there is something to this (not that I bothered to read the article).
I believe that Islamic societies are so brutal to their women that everyone born into the society develops PTSD, which is passed down to the next generation.
Imagine a child born into a family with a tyrannical father who routinely beats and rapes the mother (or at least believes that he may do that at will, even if he chooses not to), and who controls her every action. The mother (and the father) then groom the female children into this role of submission.
The sons repeatedly watch their mother and sisters being threatened, abused controlled and even murdered.
What are the odds that the children in such a family will grow up without severe pathologies (self loathing, misogyny, sociopathy, uncontrollable violent ragefullness and God knows what else)?
Now imagine a society in which such families are the norm and and held up by that society’s religious and legal authorities as desirable, virtuous role models.
There you have the Muslim society, in a nutshell — a generational cycle of mental derangement on a widespread scale viewed as normalcy.

The butcher's bill for WWI in the UK was almost a million men dead - 3 percent of the total population. Plus almost 1.5 million wounded. Adult males comprised about 57% of the population of Britain in the 1911 census.

the problem is Obviously in the islamicist teachings, based yes -—as they say-— on their koran book and how they understand its teachings apply to them today

I guess Brand is saying (unwittingly...or half-wittedly) that Islam causes mental illness. I can support that theory. Well done, Brand!
