NYT: White House Wants Holder to Resign
Newsmax ^ | 6/2/2013 | Audrey Hudson

Posted on 06/02/2013 2:11:14 PM PDT by ImJustAnotherOkie

Presidential aides are privately admitting to a growing frustration inside the White House with Attorney General Eric Holder’s political ineptness in the press leak investigations and are hoping the embattled appointee will resign from office, The New York Times reports.

“The White House is apoplectic about him, and has been for a long time,” said an anonymous Democrat source, identified only as a former government employee who acknowledged the White House staffers in question are his friends.

President Barack Obama’s advisers are frustrated with Holder’s inability to foresee problems arising from his approval of a subpoena naming a Fox News reporter as a coconspirator in an espionage investigation. Now Congress is looking at whether Holder lied under oath when he testified last month that he knew nothing about the incident.

From what I have seen so far, every single person in the Obama Administration who has stepped down has been replaced by someone even less competent than the original person. Should Holder step down, he will be replaced by someone of Elena Kagan’s caliber.

Tossing Holder under the bus, then standing at the podium stating with a straight face that everything’s OK now. It’s the Democrat way.

If a person suffers from terminal incompetency, a big key to staying afloat is to surround yourself with competent people in key positions. Unfortunately for Obama, he is too arrogant, too stupid, too proud and too racist to don even this most basic protection.

He will be remembered,if at all,for being a collosal disappointment to African-Americans and the far left, and I hope that the damage that he is doing to his own race is remembered and passed down to the next generation.

After150 + posts, you’re the only one who seems to see it my way—Holder’s holding out for a pardon. Obama’s stuck because if he offers it, the lid blows off.

I doubt zero picks any of the members of his cabinet any more than he picks his tzars. My impression is the guy is strictly there to campaign, give speeches, play with reggie and play golf.

I’ve said all along that Obama’s white house is full of ideologues who are there whether he wants them or not and he may not be able to force them out without bringing himself down with them.

That's the key...he can't get rid of screw-ups like any honorable person would do...his gang of court jesters might take offence and sing like a canary.
It would only take one key jester to spill the porotos and the entire sham Obozo regime would collapse.

He will give one if he can spin it. And that spin would be racist repubs forced his hand, so he must counter the witch hunting the only he can. He will make a little noise about how Holder cannot get a fair hearing in public as the GOP and yes, the media have poisoned the well.

You see? Not his fault. Had to be done to ensure fairness. The media then gets Repubs to trash as Holder said it himself. Issa was a disgrace or somesuch.

The MSM ignores the wiretaps, gets back to the evil that Repubs do, Obama gets rid of Holder, Holder goes on to a Million dollar private sector job lecturing on racism. The GOP says ‘we did what we could and it’s out of our hands...please send money.

Everyone wins! Except us.

I sent a note to my illustrious Senator Coburn saying the very exact this. Nothing, NADA let nothing go through.

You can see how well that worked out.

Personally without Holder the whole house of cards could collapse. At least 2 or so years ago. Now there may not be enough time.

The ‘educational’ system intentionally stupidized America for times such as these after all.

“You corrupt criminal should be wearing an orange jumpsuit in the darkest hole of a prison for all the atrocities committed under the Clinton/Obama regimes.”

It goes back a long way...Waco, Branch Dividians come to mind. He should have been tried, convicted and executed for that...but not w/o taking Janet Reno with him. Of course, we all know that Clinton was himself complicite,

All these agencies are the result of elected representatives being derelict in their duties by setting up these agencies to do the work for which they were elected. Politicians in DC are more interested in their social life than doing actual people work. I’ve been there and fought the battles at the local level in the same kind of environment.

Not a pardon but a deal...And it wouldn't involve Obama at all.

You have to go back and see how Bubba's deal worked. One of the deals was taking his state Law license for 5 years. Another was that he would never practice in front of the United States Supreme Court.

IIRC, Bubba's deal was announced about 10 minutes before he left office.

"All these agencies are the result of elected representatives being derelict in their duties by setting up these agencies to do the work for which they were elected."

Certainly true wrt the "regulations" to be "determined by the Secretary/Director/etc. It's a complete Dereliction of Duty on the part of Congress to not include all of the regulations in the Legislation they pass. Delegate nothing (We have 535 CongressCritters to get some work done for (as opposed to to) the People.

Hang in there Holder. Make this last as long as you can, so Obama and Hillary can twist in the wind.

I think Hillary is tied at the hip to this bastard. He goes, and she’s in serious trouble concerning 2016.

I think Clinton wanted Janet Reno to resign after one term but she wanted to stay on, and did. Probably she knew too much.

It could be the same with Holder.

Well, if his building resigns, I can sure think of a dormitory for him! And if Leavenworth is full, there’s always that lovely new prison he built in Illinois for Gitmo inmates.

They did not figure on the bath house media going after him. And I would venture to say had Holder only violated the right of a Fox News reporter, everything would have been fine. But his storm troopers got all full of themselves and went after AP, too.

I want to see who get prosecuted at the IRS for throwing the last election via harassing conservative, Christian and Jewish organizations.
