Dont forget late 2009 when Obama declared war on FNC, then 3+ years later we find out that Holder justice department told judges that some FNC reporters were suspected of committing Treason and Espionage

I didn’t know this. Well, we know from whence the treason emanates.

It is entirely possible Lois Lerner’s husband, or a very close friend of his paid “attention’ to her ~ maybe that’s possible. You be the judge. She has a track record suggesting she’d do this stuff for free ~ but notice please, SHE GOT CAUGHT!

I'm in favor of that, too.

I'm also in favor of "original intent" interpretation of the Constitution.

Wickard v. Filburn was a constitutional atrocity that has turned the beltway into a regulatory industry that sucks the life out of ordinary people like an army of leeches. The excesses committed under the guise of "regulating commerce" have taught me to hate bureaucrats and bureaucracies.

The republicans need to attack these two and other politicians who demanded this fiasco and tar and feather them as people who want to disenfranchise voters and oppressors of free speech. No need to play nice, hit’em in the teeth and if the press defends their lackeys they have teeth too! Get the press on camera and ask “journalists” point blank are you journalists or partisans?

Attack! Attack! Attack!

I know, whistling in the wind with the Grand Old Puss Party...

I believe it was my first post on this particular scandal ~ here's one on May 16, 2013 at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3020140/posts Not a whole lot of Freeper interest then ~ handful of posts. But on May 13, 2013 I had already named Geitner as the big target at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3019062/posts?page=19 and again here on May 13 ~ with my best post yet "but what if they were unaware and it was actually Tim Geithner siccing his goons on the TEAParty ~ he's already got a public record as a tax cheat, and a guy who'd do that would mess around misusing public agencies.

You should actually hate the judges ~ I, myself, can hardly walk by one of their graves without stopping to relieve myself.

I have some for them too, but ultimately every man must be held to acount for his own actions regardless of whether someone else gave him permission or not. They don't get a pass just because some judge or group of judges said it was OK.

Yes, they do get a pass because they wouldn’t have thought it up on their own. Judges have become the bane of our existence.

My Mom wouldn't let me get away with that when I was 4, and a neighbor's older son talked me into doing something wrong.

Excellent Liz!

Live link for your WSJ article
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124113406528875137.html

This date may become more significant:

“President Obama announced Friday [Oct 1, 2010] that his brash and hard-charging chief of staff Rahm Emanuel would resign effective immediately, marking the most significant departure to date from the president’s inner circle.”

Other dates for my own recollection but of possible interest to others:

As Liz documented with WSJ article above, Rahm was in control of Treasury by late Jan 2009.

Feb 19, 2009 -— CNBC’s Rick Santelli rant heard round the world
Called for a “Chicago Tea Party” Thursday, leading the charge for calls to revolt against the Obama Administration’s mortgage bailout plan....even the White House mentioned him directly in response to questions about the bailout — not once, not twice, but NINE times
http://www.cnbc.com/id/29283701

Feb 27, 2009 -— Tea Party organizers claim that the first nationwide Tea Party protest took place on February 27, 2009, with coordinated events occurring in more than 40 cities.

April 15, 2009 -— These protests were merely dress rehearsal for the Tea Party events planned for April 15, 2009: tax day. Few can agree on the number of events held throughout the country; the number ranges from 200 to 750, with total attendance ranging from about 250,000 to more than a half-million

Spring/summer 2009 -— Town-hall meetings
Protests against the stimulus package, the bank bailouts, and health-care legislation continued throughout 2009.... During the summer, Tea Party protesters were criticized for their disruptive outbursts during meetings held by members of Congress in their home districts to discuss health-care reform.

Fall 2009 -— WH attacks on Fox News escalates

Jan 19, 2010 -—The movement’s first major victory of the year occurred in January in Massachusetts—perhaps the bluest of the blue states—when Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley in the Senate race to fill the seat vacated after the death of Sen. Ted Kennedy.

The ranks of Tea Party members grew in Congress throughout 2010.

Jan. 21, 2010: Citizens United -— The Supreme Court ruled that the government cannot limit corporation or union spending for or against political candidates in this Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission

February 6, 2010: Some say that Sarah Palin assumed the role as #1 Tea Partier when she delivered the keynote address at the first Tea Party Convention in February 2010 in Nashville. Some 600 people attended the full convention, and another 500 sat in on Palin’s speech only.

In fact, Gallup poll in late March 2010 revealed that 28% of Americans have a positive perception of the Tea Party movement.

May 2010 -— DOJ-—affidavit detailed the effort to get e-mails from the account of Fox News reporter James Rosen. He was not charged in the leak investigation although the document referred to him as a possible co-conspirator.

The Republicans could attack them, but the fact is their constituents think they are doing what is right by keeping Republicans out of office.

The Politicians are no worse than the voters hat put them there.

When I first started working...way back in the 80’s, the old timers called that the “Pearl Harbor File”.

PS If the auditors can't find it, it never happened! Always keep a copy!

We used to call that "CYA", same idea...

The entire; embedded; treasonous Left needs to be removed. There can be no significant change; as long as those 'who believe' - not in America; but only in 'changing America by any/all means possible' - remain at their Government stations.

An ideological narcissism at work; whereby these people live to 'recast' our nation; in their inferior image.

Change the to...”Internal Revenge Service.”

The first thing is to get the word "service" out of there; IRS is anything BUT a service.
