Obama was caught without his prepared remarks Friday afternoon, leading him shout for his aides as they frantically looked for a paper copy of his statement.
Obama, who rarely goes off script during his statements, acknowledged to his San Jose, Calif., audience that he couldn’t make a speech without the prepared version in front of him.
“I want to thank everybody who’s here. I think there’s only one problem, and that is that my remarks are not sitting here,” Obama said.

He has no clue without the paper. Doesn’t know who anyone standing there is, can’t even say good morning.
Looking at it again he actually does say good morning. But, when the remarks are delivered he says it again from the script.

Too funny..I speak off the cuff all the time...and it's historical data so I have to be accurate. It's called doing your homework. He's just plain lazy. It shows in everything he does.
It amazes me that even if the morons who love Obama’s speaking “style,” understood about the teleprompters and about this particular episode — they would STILL love his speaking style!!!
Even Bush who everyone said wasn’t good at public speaking would have stayed classy and winged it while someone got his prepared speech.
