Sex scandals, covered-up crimes hit at State Department: memo
The Washington Times ^ | 6-10-2013 | Cheryl K. Chumley

Posted on 06/10/2013 9:07:10 AM PDT by markomalley

The State Department has been tainted by an internal memo that revealed security personnel and even diplomats may have committed inappropriate, illegal behavior during overseas trips.

Some of the behaviors: One State Department security staffer in Beirut “engaged in sexual assaults” on embassy guards, and members of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s security team may have “engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries,” CBS reported the memo as stating. The prostitution allegation was especially egregious — described as occurring so frequently to rise to the level of “endemic,” CBS said. And one more alleged activity, in the memo: An “underground drug ring” operated near the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, supplying contractors with the State Department with drugs, CBS reported.

PING. Thought this thread would be of interest to you.

Hahahaha...it does bro...thanks much. It was not toooooo long ago I had DSS creds, but Domestic Facility Protection here stateside at the HST building...We had our own adventures stateside, hosting and traveling with foreign dignitaries and such, but heard plenty of wild stories about those Foreign Service SOBs that made us jealous as kids...they got all the funding and all the fun.

Truth be told, a lot of these FS guys were in Embassies and Missions I would never volunteer for so I agree with the funding...they need the cash, arms and equipment. There are some dirty, nasty, dangerous countries out there...learned that in the Corps.

Hell, I was young...they are young...when you are young you take fun as far as your older and wiser boss allows you to take it. In my humble opinion, that is the job of the boss. If I was Ajay Squared away, I do not need a boss. Now I am old..yes, and long gone...but would I shut the young boys down at my age as the boss? Hell yes. Is it being done now? Hell no. I imagine the boss is completely complicit. Drugs and prostitutes???? AND it made it to the level of others finding out???? You deserve to be outted for being sloppy and stupid!

That aside, the CIA is really dumping out the scandals now, aren't they??? One drip at a time.

Never piss on the leg of another agency head!!!

Government agencies and the MSM have been trying to turn brother against brother, amongst the populace.

Now it appears the government agencies are turning on each other.

Poetic justice, so to speak.

I need a daily cheat sheet to keep up with the scandals.

Well.... here's a start. You can add new scandals as they appear each day.

Here are 185 examples of Barack Obama’s lying, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, etc.

While I agree that corruption is “endemic” in politics (meaning “native to or characteristic of”), I suspect the word they were looking for is “epidemic,” as in “wide-spread, extremely prevalent.”

Blame it on the 'autocomplete' function of the author's spell-checker.

Most 'journalists' are products of today's 'edumakational' system and barely know the difference between enema and anemic.

A better question is how does one rape a man that is carrying a rifle?

That's assuming our Embassy Guards are even allowed to carry rifles.
