Thanks for the ping.

I heard this today. Rush has been warning his audience about this immigration bill every day. Did you hear where Rus said that Rubio’s staff called to try to get Rubio on the air to “explain” his Univision remarks? Rush apparently told him to go play in the street. Rush also threw out an open-ended line about people trying to take advantage of him.

Rush could destroy some of these Republicans with a single sentence if he wanted to, and they know it.

Illegals are a net drain, a major net drain on our society. That would not change if they were granted amnesty.

Just what we need - 10 million or 20 million or 40 million more freeloaders. We should be exporting the illegals and the democrats, not embracing them.

“Something Rush said yesterday morning was very telling. He casually reported that Rubio’s staff had called Rush’s staff that morning to get Rubio on the show to explain why his Univision remarks weren’t contradictory. Rush didn’t let him on, instead he told his audience about the phone call. Very pointed, I thought. Later, when the Grassley amendment was tabled, Rush said it made him sad when people tried to take advantage of him, implying that’s what Rubio had done.”

Thanks for sharing that info. I didn’t hear that segment. Rush is not blasting Rubio (and perhaps never will), but relating Rubio’s request, and the fact that Rush turned him down, is very telling.

I know that Rush doesn’t have many guests, but having let Rubio shill for this bill on his shown early on, it would be good now if Rush would have Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz on to outline the real nightmare of this bill. That would be a real service and would also poke Rubio in the eye.

Go ahead, say it Rush. We all know you want to.

Rubio is a fraud.

He just can't seem to go that far, but clearly he is hurt, and feels he was lied to by a friend.

He did denounce him sort of when he ripped the gang of eight.

'Cause thanks to his old friend Rubio we are on the threshold.

If it wasn’t Rubio the GOPe would have someone else to carry the water on this travesty>

Rubio was the GOPe's clean and articulate guy with a slight accent and the style of a carnival carny.

Yeah, but Rubio had credibility with the grassroots I think would've been hard to find in most other GOP stooges. Who's gonna listen to McCain?

Rubio enabled the sham to be carried alot further forward, IMO.

Ryan might've been as effective.

We need to first figure out what to do.

We know what needs to be done, but it is illegal.

"RUSH: I'll tell you why it pains me, why it is really, really painful, this stuff. Because I really like Senator Rubio. I remember Senator Rubio campaigning against Crist. I know who Rubio is."

No, Rush, clearly you STILL don't know who he is, even though the rest of us figured it out a long time ago.

"Painful?" Why is it painful? Is he still that far up Rubio's behind, even after everything that's happened? Unbelievable.

I don’t listen to him much because of the time he comes on,

You can listen to him anytime you choose, his podcast is free, and you can listen to him via his web page, or use his free app if you have a smart phone.

Rush and Mark’s defense of Rubio is unbelievable. I just listened to a guest - Heather McDonald of the Manhattan Institute - on Mark’s show, call Rube a “great betrayer” for his amnesty lies...and Mark said nothing about him (Rube), when he had the perfect chance to.

Rubio has misrepresented his conditions for the bill and I think he lied to Rush and to Levin, and they should withdraw all future support of him.

They don't think he lied, they know he lied, and Rush was crushed by that fact. He felt Rubio was a friend, and if you have ever had a close friend lie to you about a serious matter you may recall how you felt about it.

Having said that, they should both attack, attack, attack.

Then, you didn't listen to Mark Monday thru Thursday.

Levin has already abandoned Rubio -- with cause.

This just shows how out of touch with the illegal alien community Rubio is.

These people will not register and pay a fine. Many of them have been here for 20+ years and haven’t paid anything.

Can’t wait for the Amnesty Bill that will safeguard the illegals that don’t com forward with this amnesty bill.

Rubio has been used. He is a pretty Lation, so he must know what he is doing. The best that can come from this is that he learns from this experience and does not repeat it.

I’ve been listening through out the week. I guess I missed that, though. Glad to hear that Mark has (finally) “abandoned (MarcoPhone) with cause”. What exactly did Mark say to do so? Thanks.

I think Flake is definitely finished after this term. When McCain goes, Flake will still carry his stink, and I think the people of AZ will want new blood.

How dare him try to play the American citizens for fools this way. He looks weak and can no longer be trusted with the truth.

What exactly did Mark say to do so? Thanks.

Jeez. You listened all week?

You didn't hear Mark discuss what the Immigration Bill actually meant, what was wrong with it, what it would mean to the future? You didn't hear him berate Rubio for being associated with it? You didn't hear him say that Rubio had been "used" by the likes of Schumer and McCain?

Maybe I was listening to an another show...
