New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft revealed the real story behind a 2005 meeting with Vladimir Putin, during which the Russian president pocketed his Super Bowl ring, worth more than $25,000. Kraft, at the time, claimed the diamond-encrusted bauble was a gift, but he now admits Putin stole it, and the White House intervened when he demanded it back.

Putin gets a skim from the oil/gas enterprises. His wealth is 20-40 billion estimated on internet. He might be shooting for a family dynasty via children from the young gymnast who is 28 now.
And, still, I think Putin is a better human than Obama.

He unquestionably loves his motherland and is devoted to her national interest to a far greater degree than the jug-eared tranzi currently fouling the Oval Office. I would be tempted to vote for him if I were a Russian.
If I understood the story from the headline, Mr. Kraft’s toilet will now leak where it joins the floor. What an indictment of the Soviet economy that Putin would have to steal a bowl ring. /sarc
Timing seems convenient since Putin just publicly chastised Owebama.
