The reason the press went after Zimmerman with such hatred was because they thought he was a middle class, middle aged white man. If you think it’s bad for Zimmerman - think what it would be like for one of us? All that liberal hatred looking for some conservative to focus that hatred on...

Back in the early 90’s I used the word “black” referring to blacks to a liberal I worked with. She said they prefer to be called afro-american (that’s what she said - not AFRICAN-american). I said, ok, afro-american.
Then I read an article just a few weeks later and showed it to her. It said that blacks preferred to be called “black” over african american by a wide margin. It was just the racist white liberals that wanted to be the language police.
