Cheney: ‘I Don’t Pay a Lot of Attention to What Barack Obama Says’ By Patrick Brennan June 16, 2013 10:23 AM

Dick Cheney said this morning that “it’s good” the executive branch is still running counterterrorism surveillance operations, but he’s unhappy with how the president has talked about them and defended them. The president “ought to be able to say this is a righteous program,” Cheney said, but President Obama instead has run the program while claiming — most prominently in his speech at the National Defense University recently – that the War on Terror is coming to an end. On that, the former vice president said, “he’s just dead wrong . . . it’s not winding down.” In fact, “the area that’s safe harbor for terrorists now runs all across North Africa” and “the threat’s bigger than ever,” Cheney told Fox News’s Chris Wallace.

Vice President Cheney said that the administration ruined its “credibility” through dishonesty over the events in Benghazi and the IRS targeting. “The guy has failed to be forthright and honest,” Cheney said.

Cheney said President Obama instead has run the program while claiming that the War on Terror is coming to an end.

Obama is right. He IS ending the war on terror.

He's now fighting a war on Conservatism, Christianity, and Patriotism.

Besides, has Ubama even said anything about the goings on at NSA?

He's been so busy attending fundraisers he may not have had time to pick up a paper and read what is going on in his administration.

Saw Cheney on Fox this morning, he’s looking great. It warms my heart to see him looking healthy.

“’The guy has failed to be forthright and honest,’ Cheney said.”

You can be sure that anything out of the mouth of Obama is either a lie or an “uh”.

The Scouts have fewer gaywads.

I had predicted that George Bush would come out supporting his surveillance program under Urkel but I screwed up. Dick Cheney carries a lot more weight with conservatives.

Well maybe this fool SHOULD pay attention to what he says. As much as I don’t want to, I pay attention to what both Cheney and Obama say ... and they have done more to destroy America than just about anyone in history.

Cheney: ‘I Don’t Pay a Lot of Attention to What Barack Obama Says’

Would should he? America is only going the hell in a handbasket (*yawn*)

Coincidentally and strangely enough, neither does his former boss, George W. Bush. Except when a library is being dedicated.

Not needing to hear what Obama says is like not needing a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Cheney is and always was a proponent of Big Guv Machination, Big Brother, and CFR/Globalist policies.

NOT an "America-First" Team-Player.

I have been saying it since Libya.
Al Queda holds the entire north of Africa now.
A beach head across from Europe.

Obama did not just allow it to happen.
He made that happen.

Good one.

How do former Presidents, VPs, and previous administrations suddenly NOT care a whit as the nation devolves into a Commie-Fascist police state??

I don't get this indifference of which ways the winds of (subversive) change are blowing by (Republican) titans whose job in theory used to be the maintenance of security and integrity of the USA.

I HAVE noticed that Coincidentally, Liz Cheney in an interview with Hannity FULLY supported the NSA as well and despises Snowden.
