McConnell: IRS Scandal Likely Doesn't Reach The White House
RCP ^ | June 21, 2013

SEN. MITCH MCCONNELL (R-KY): "I am prepared to say, and I will say today, I think the president and his political allies encouraged this kind of bureaucratic overreach by their public comments. But that’s quite different from saying they ordered it. With regard to who’s actually responsible for it, we need to find out: that investigation will go on for quite some time."

McConnell is so f'kn hopeless. This party deserves to die. Whether Obama ordered it or not, he condoned the targeting of conservative groups. For that he should be punished. This mealy-mouthed approach by MM is going to go nowhere. Dumbass.

I don’t give a damn if it does or doesn’t reach the white house. There are plenty of democrats on record encouraging it.

If McConnell had the creativity to think of it, he would have asked the IRS to suppress the Tea Party.

What can he possibly hope to gain by making that statement? Somebody must have something good on him.

How does he know?

I honestly would like to see someone prove that it DIDN’T reach the White House.

All of these intimidation scandals are straight out of Alinsky/Community organizing 101, something our community organizer in chief knows quite well.

McConnell is so f'kn hopeless.

Hopeless??? I would say compromised.

Obama has reams of data on all the elected officials and judges and that is why you are seeing such a change in supposed ideology all over the place and towing the Obama line....all the way to the Supreme Court.

Unless these guys have squeaky clean backgrounds they have no hope of standing on principles in Washington today. It is already to late.

The Republicans are a wholly owned subsidiarity of the Democrat Party and serve as the Designated Opposition for so long as the kenyan feels he needs a show opposition. They will also be the first in the dock at the inevitable show trials when he doesn't need that Opposition any more.

I understand, but quitting is not an option.

God wouldn’t have allowed us to be born for this time in history if He didn’t plan to supply the graces we will need.

Today I remind you that we are strong enough for whatever comes because we have God in our hearts and liberty in our blood; tomorrow, you can remind me.

:-)

Guess old Mitch got jealous of Boehner stabbing us in the back all by himself and decided to join in.

We're on our own folks, to expect anything resembling fight from the Republican party is a waste of time.

McConnell is so f’kn hopeless.

The problem is their is no “smoking gun”....no e-mail or letter stating Obama directed him to do this. How he was able to get this done is by putting people into positions who know his desires and they follow them, but for McConnell to continue to spend time finding an e-mail, it would be seriously a waste of time. Not to say they have anything else they are doing productive, but still.
