It Begins… ‘Gang of 8' Members Jeff Flake & John McCain Face Recall Petitions
Gateway Pundit ^ | June 23, 2013 | Jim Hoft

A new website is asking Arizona residents for their signatures to recall Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain for supporting the immigration-amnesty bill.

The website even has an easy name to remember – SenatorJeffFlake.com

Senator Flake is Failing Arizona!
** Senator Jeff Flake is not representing Arizona voters, conservatives, or American citizens, even though he is our employee and ran under the Republican ticket.
** Jeff Flake is voting as if he were employed by foreign nationals who have invaded the USA, aka illegal aliens, rather than his Arizona constituents.
** Jeff is showing us his true colors- he is as blue as they come, a Rhino, a Liberal Democrat in everything but official party designation.

His recall begins now.

Arizona Constitution Article 8, Section 1.

“Every public officer in the state of Arizona, holding an elective office, either by election or appointment, is subject to recall from such office by the qualified electors of the electoral district from which candidates are elected to such office. Such electoral district may include the whole state. Such number of said electors as shall equal twenty-five per centum of the number of votes cast at the last preceding general election for all of the candidates for the office held by such officer, may by petition, which shall be known as a recall petition, demand his recall.”(continued)

There are rules here against personal attacks and calling someone an idiot. So I won’t.

I was always interested in the timing of that.

How convenient for him.

I thought senate recalls weren’t constitutional.

The best Rep Arizona has had is Matt Salmon.

I really wish he had been elected Senator.

The bitter irony is that one of the few members of Congress who really deserved to stay kept his word and only stayed for two terms as he had promised.

I will crawl 20 miles through broken glass on top of sweltering black asphalt pavement in 117 degree mid day sun to sign those recall petitions.

Where can I go to sign

“We need Sarah Palin to be President not just a Senator
Time is running short”

I must disagree. We needed Mitt Romney to be President not Obama.

And unfortunately, IMO, Time has run out.

To all who know me, I did say that and will repeat it.

TIME HAS RUN OUT.

America should’ve chosen Goldwater in 1964. History.

Yeah, I've been thinking for a while that the John Birch society had it right all along.

Heh!

If JD’s past records are more “RINOish” compared to Rubio and Ayotte, how can you guarantee that JD would not turn out to be just like Rubio and Ayotte on this issue?

Do their states have recalls?

Yes they do.

FWIW, this is John McCain's second recall in less than than 10 years, which is kind of a record. No other Arizona Senator has ever faced recall up until McCain's behavior became so outrageous people had had enough and filed for his recall.

When it became obvious that the recall had enough petition signatures to force a McCain recall election and that he would lose and be kicked out of office, McCain went groveling to the re call Chairman and promised he would mend his ways if only the Chairman would relent and cancel the filing of the recall petition and stop the recall.

As a result, the re call was put to a halt and Good Old John waited for a few months to make sure the recall was totally dead. As soon as the recall was formally dead, McCain immediately broke his word and went back to his bad behavior.

Now we have a double record with McCain getting his second recall initiative off the ground and while Jeff Flake is simultaneously earning his first recall.

With McCain, we have the all time record of having the first AZ Senator to face recall two separate times. For the second record, we have the historic case where both of Arizona's Senators are being forced to stand for recall at the same time.

WTF are these guys thinking

The entire government needs to be recalled. Except Cruz. Every other employee, elected official, rep, senator, judge, president, bureaucrat, janitor, everyone.

And I do not care at all if they are ever replaced. I’d just as soon not.

Yeah, the Palins bought a house in AZ but not for the reason everyone seems to think. They, like many living in northern climates, bought it for a winter home and the depressed real estate market in AZ was just too good to pass up. I know quite a few people that did the same thing.

I really don’t think Sarah Palin has any desire to be involved in the Senate or the House. Sarah Palin is results oriented and the Senate isn’t. Plus, living in DC would be very distasteful to them.

I believe she would take on the presidency but only if there was a chance she could implement real reform. A huge tea party victory in ‘14 could be the key. IMO only, of course. :-)

Romney is a spineless squish. What the country needs is a man or woman who can stand on principle in the face of GOP mainstream opposition.

I never saw one issue they were wrong on, but I didn’t do an “in-depth” study.

Sarah permanent residence is Alaska not Arizona, which is a just a second home to keep from flying from Alaska all of the time to the Lower 48 but its not her legal resident. In fact the house was bought through a LLC partnerships so I don’t know how the laws would apply to residency. Besides, Sarah this year said ‘thanks but no thanks’ to a drive to get her to run for the senate. I know you like Sarah but quit pushing something that she doesn’t want to do and where (Arizona) she isn’t a resident
