A new website is asking Arizona residents for their signatures to recall Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain for supporting the immigration-amnesty bill.
The website even has an easy name to remember – SenatorJeffFlake.com
Senator Flake is Failing Arizona!
** Senator Jeff Flake is not representing Arizona voters, conservatives, or American citizens, even though he is our employee and ran under the Republican ticket.
** Jeff Flake is voting as if he were employed by foreign nationals who have invaded the USA, aka illegal aliens, rather than his Arizona constituents.
** Jeff is showing us his true colors- he is as blue as they come, a Rhino, a Liberal Democrat in everything but official party designation.
His recall begins now.
Arizona Constitution Article 8, Section 1.
“Every public officer in the state of Arizona, holding an elective office, either by election or appointment, is subject to recall from such office by the qualified electors of the electoral district from which candidates are elected to such office. Such electoral district may include the whole state. Such number of said electors as shall equal twenty-five per centum of the number of votes cast at the last preceding general election for all of the candidates for the office held by such officer, may by petition, which shall be known as a recall petition, demand his recall.”(continued)

If they do get recalled and a good conservative runs, I will be sending them money.
They had a link to a .pdf form that they welcome people to print as many copies of as they wish, and to collect as many signatures as can be had, which will then be collected by the site operators after 04 July. I would imagine instructions on how to deliver physical copies is to follow and/or available upon request at the link you provided.
I'm somewhat isolated where I live at the moment, so my petition signature sheet will contain a single signature: mine.

Arizona does have recall but it applies to state officeholders only.
When Arizona was still a territory seeking admission as a state, Teddy Roosevelt wanted to combine it with New Mexico and admit the one state as "New Mexico" with the capital at Santa Fe. It would have rivaled Texas in size.
The people of Arizona refused because of the distance and difficulty of traveling from Santa Fe to Yuma. Normal business would take weeks.They also felt no affinity with the people of New Mexico. Geography and culture had separated the two.
The two were separated with the Democrats agreeing because it was felt that New Mexico would always be Republican and Arizona would be Democratic.
President Taft refused to sign the enabling legislation for Arizona because the proposed constitution had a recall provision which included judges. Arizona's admission was delayed while they took out the recall language. That is why Arizona's admission was a month behind New Mexico's and why, until the admission of Alaska ans Hawaii, it was called the "Baby State". As soon as statehood was achieved, Arizona put the recall language back into the constitution.
A sitting senator cannot be legally recalled but both McCain and former senator Kyl signed pledges to abide by the result of any recall and resign if they lost. I do not think that Flake has signed such an agreement.
At the very least, there is nothing to stop the recall from going forward at the state level.
If Flake loses the recall he would have a choice of accepting the will of the people or going to Federal Court to have the Arizona recall overruled by Federal Law.
The litigation would be very acrimonious and would consume most of his remaining term.
Regardless of the court decision, Flakes political career would be over

It isn't, but try telling them that. The Constitution provides for one method for removing a sitting senator - impeachment.
The U.S. Constitution does not provide for the removal of senators by recall. It doesn’t matter what the state constitution says, it can’t supersede the rules for federal constitutional elected offices.
Yep, Sarah Palin calling McCain the “tea party” candidate on Fox was one of the most sickening political moments of the past 10 years.

It is not a trivial thing to try to overturn a Federal election. Flake's views were known before he was elected. He was elected to a six-year term. Period. A recall attempt would lose three to one.Who would vote for it? Mormons? Catholics? Democrats? None of the above? Flake is safe.
Court procedings would be short and sweet.
The Constitution is clear.
Federal Law is clear.
Legal precident is clear.
Flake would win in court in a fortnight.
There are other ways to do this. Effective ways.

Thank you for helping to improve Arizona and protect the rule of law! Citizenship is a privilege, not a barter tool for votes, nor a reward for illegal entry/overstaying a visa.
That ad was a big factor in his re-election. McCains main interest is UN/globalist agenda. Doubtful he would be in Senate right now without being dishonest.

No, you don’t impeach Senators any more than you impeach members of the House. You impeach members of the executive and judicial branches. Sitting federal judges, cabinet officials, POTUS etc.
The way a senator can be removed is by being expelled from the Senate by the Senate, or being compelled by circumstances to resign in shame/disgrace.
It's an interesting question. Article II, Section 4 says 'all civil officers' are subject to impeachment for wrongdoing. Do congressmen and senators fall under the 'all civil officers' definition? They well may, but even if they did it would make no sense to impeach when they have the easier method of expelling. But on the other hand under impeachment you have members of one house sitting in judgement on members of the other and that might be a Constitutional no-no as well. So it may well be expulsion is the only method of removing a sitting member of either house.
Either way, recall is still not a constitutional option.
