Today, June 24th, is DAY #11 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. The first day of the actual trial. The previous two weeks were jury selection and the conclusion of the Frye Hearing.
Over the weekend Judge Debra Nelson ruled that State voice identification experts would not be allowed to claim Trayvon Martin was the voice heard calling for help on the 911 call tapes based on unproven science. The jury reported for sequestered duty on Sunday.
Today opening statements are set to begin:

What an incompetent jerk!
What did he say?
Yes. Not only not allowed in the courtroom, they are forbidden from accessing any media or converation that recounts what has happened in court.
Really???? He’s supposed to be a high priced, high powered attorney? Zimmerman is toast unless this guy sits down...quick.
He started off with a personal story, objected and sustained by prosecutor. So he stammers a bit and then decides to tell a joke (saying that sometimes you need to laugh to keep from going crazy).

“Congratulations, you’re on the jury”
He is not on target....vacillating and saying stuff “if I’m not mistaken”. Huh?? He has me lost and bored. ThIS right here is going to send GZ to jail. First impressions mean everything.
This guy probably spent 15 minutes preparing this opening statement. He should have had it memorized and prepared for an entire week.
He is confusing the jury not educating them.
He keeps saying wrong things and correcting himself!! Get rid of him quick!!

West is speaking and he represents Zimmerman.

How the hell are they witnesses? They weren’t at the scene- nor was george o nthe phone with htem as the inicdent went down

I believe the Martins are still there.
Crump and the Zimmermans were asked to leave because they are on a list of possible witnesses who might be called. They were asked to leave before the jury came in.

Armed only with a 48 ounce of iced tea- whjat the lawyer said was BS, the kid was armed with large stature, mma training, and was younger and strogner- AND he was armed with surprise- blindsiding an unsuspectign george zimmerman.
