I expect that as I read this thread I will see that someone else will have pointed out that the Berlin Wall was there to keep East Germans from escaping to freedom from communism, not to prevent West Berliners from sneaking across the border to work in East Germany.
If the Mexican government wants to keep Americans out, it’s fine with me. If I want to experience crime and disease on a holiday, I can go to Chicago.
