full title...'Sad day for our nation; founding fathers would be ashamed': Chick-fil-A boss causes outrage AGAIN after tweeting disappointment over historic gay marriage ruling
Chick fil-A boss Dan Cathy said the 'founding fathers would be ashamed' Last year he caused an outcry after saying that he supported the 'biblical definition of the family unit' Thousands of gay couples then protested stores across the country Defense of Marriage Act was struck down meaning that married same-sex couples have to receive the same benefits as heterosexual married couples The ruling has substantial effects when it comes to issues like survivors benefits and tax filings for married same-sex couples Same-sex marriage is only legal in 12 states and the District of Columbia California now added to that list as Prop 8 also dismissed

What rabbis say that and where? That's a new one.
I suppose it depends on how you kill them. ;)
There are no franchises.
With assistance from the government and media, the paradigm shift from “stay out of our bedrooms” to “you’re not only going to accept us, you’re going to give us your children and celebrate us while doing it” makes it “my business” now.
They’ve intruded into my personal space and I resent and reject that intrusion.
I’m with you...just don’t feel like I live in an “independent” country any longer.
I would just be going through the motions, putting on a false display of “patriotism” in this era of an invasive, out of control government.
I just baked some chicken strips using my own recipe. All I can say is I wish there was a Chik-fil-A around. Maybe I should consult a cook book next time.
I remember the last time he supposedly got in trouble. There were so many customers they had to close down part of the Dothan, Alabama traffic circle.
I s that John Travolta?
You are on the money with the pedos.
I don’t care about polygamists, any guy that wants 2 wives at once has lost his mind anyhow. And any woman that wants 2 mother in laws??? No words.
One down the street but it’s always so busy you can barely get in there.
Mr. Cathy keeps giving me reasons to stand in line though.
If you can get near one. Ours are always packed, even off rush hours. Shows how well the boycott is working.
Went there yesterday and only saw the peach shake ad after ordering. Have to go back very soon for one (or more)!
ROFLMAO!!! Good one!!!
All the Orthodox ones say it.
But, and here’s the big but...
there was a eastern European rabbi that wrote a herem (prohibition) about 1000 years ago outlawing polygamy in the Jewish communities because of the rising tide of Christian-imposed monogamy.
Sephardic (Spanish) Jews didn’t abide by the herem until around the 1800s because the European and Spanish Jewish communities keep by their own rabbis’ rulings.
The only Jews who practice polygamy today are the Yemenite Jews in Yemen because Islam allows it (don’t know what the limit is; might be four). They can make aliyah to Israel with their wives (grandfathered in) even though the State of Israel outlaws polygamy.
When the Messiah runs the show polygamy will come back since it is Biblical.
And that is going to p.o. a lot of Christians.
My lunch tomorrow will be Chic-Fil-A
“You know I am torn about that. I took my flag down a couple of weeks ago. One day I want to put it back up another I am so upset with our government I don’t want to. My father fought in WWII for that flag. Alot of fine brave young men died for that flag. I don’t want to disrespect their sacrifice. I don’t know what to do. Maybe someone could start a thread on this subject.”
Flags and founding father mean nothing to 90% of people in the US under 20 today. In a few years it will be 100%. We’re reaping what we’ve sown.
Chick-Fil-A is one of the few bright spots of moving from Michigan to Maryland. They just got final approval to build one a half mile from my house.
he is correct
I forgot, there’s also one going up a half mile from my office. Too bad they don’t put one up near my church, hten I’d be covered. Oh wait...closed Sundays.
Not quite. The original Daisy.
even going back 2000 years to tribal society with polygamy, however you cut it, the kids in that family unit have a father and a mother, don’t they? Seems like natural human right to have both
Yes, you are quite correct. They understood how important it was to always have a father and mother in the equation to make sure the children grew up balanced.
But the question I have is...
What man is man enough, responsible enough, and mature enough to handle more than one woman?
One is difficult enough, but two or more? Oy! Headaches galore!
On top of that, collectivists have been doing their darnedest to feminize and emasculate men.
What we need are women whisperers to teach men how to tame those women. Here’s a funny beer commercial about one.
Their prOOOOOtests backfired, and put alot of money in CF’s pocket, is what happened. At least where I live, anyway. There were LINES out the door to get in to patronize them...by the sensible people, that is.
