And now... there will be total confusion when someone calls Joan Walsh the C-word.
So.... is that why the COURT went to lunch so early ?
I don't know what the heck that is, but I hope it was photoshopped.
Cracker is just a term of endearment don’t you know by the black youth of today...just as honky was used when I was a youth.
“For the record: I have been known to say Jesus Christ on a cracker, and I want to make clear I am not praying for the Son of God to jump a white person. “
True, but you DO show a hateful and blatant demeaning attitude, which is relevant in Trayvon’s remark and relevant to this case.
White racism bad, black racism good and expect it!
That phrase was more offensive to me than what Martin said. That silly author should realize the offensiveness that most Christians feel when our Lord’s name is used in vain.
"Finally"??
The only reason there is a trial is because racist libtards want to deny Zimmerman his perfect right to self defense.
They don’t want people to be able to defend themselves, effectively, at least,
because people who can defend themselves will defend themselves from tyrants as well.
Northern California is full of the male kind....
Crackers in Florida used whips to herd cattle, not people.
“Northern California is full of the male kind....”
Tell me about it.
I'm pretty sure it' a perjorative when blacks use it against whites, but I know some older people who live in places like northern Florida where they proudly proclaim they are crackers, and are proud to call northern FL "Cracker Country".
Can anyone from the South educate me on what the real meaning of the term "Cracker" is? Thanks... ;-)
And, similarly who cares if Paula Deen said Ni**er?
Leftist barforoids like this one cell.
Cracker has never had to power to demean.
I say it, therefore it is so.
She makes a curb look smart.
I’m originally a Yankee too. .but been down here in Florida long enough to know cracker.
Although it depends who you ask. It MAY have started from white men cracking the whip over slaves. .but it’s a strange word. Like the N word the meaning is changeable. Also can mean redneck/poor white trash. But there are some folks in Florida and Georgia who proudly call themselves cracker. In the way it’s being used in this trial I think it’s more of an insult- but who knows?!
At least, it really should be, or mostly satire.....
It has always been a loaded term depending on tone and who is saying it
While not quite as demonized as the words(nigger)..or (like) or (spic) or (slope)...it is never a complimentary word
There are many ideas about the origin
Most agree either Florida or Georgia in 1800s
I would place cracker on par with dago or guinea or mick or jap
Depends on how its used....never a good word but can be much worse in context
Of course no one cares so why bother
cracker is used today buy blacks as a racist term though there did not ever come from whites whipping black slaves , that a is a myth .it came from hard working cattle men in FL here and remember Orlando was a massive cattle market and the wild west at one time.
Whites working would whip their whips to the horse which today is still called a cracker horse.
Today blacks used the term all the time and trust me wear their racism towards whites with pride.
I’ve just got out hospital and I was talking to a black nurse but again she let her racism show when she said and I quote”yes you white folk” and then You lot.
white guilty liberals have no idea about this because they live in their white liberal areas who think diversity is a Mexican food on a Friday night and Chinese on the weekend while having one black and one Asian family in their neighborhood.
