One prepper friend of mine told me he is watching the trial closely because he think an acquittal will set up huge race riots. We’ll see.
Simple solution to this problem:
1) identify these “people” making threats
2) detain and arrest for hate crime speech

I had a tenant up in WA who upon hearing the Rodney King verdict on TV decided to go out and murder a random white person. He did just that, and shot at police as well... he wound up serving 5 years in prison for that murder.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965 were passed almost 50 years ago. Generations have grown up since then who never had their rights under these laws violated. To the contrary, our nation has bent over backwards to make sure these laws were enforced properly.
To listen to liberals and race baiters, you would swear that Bull Conner and police dogs are still out there.
Our secretary of Agriculture (who signs CCW licenses) was Charles Bronson in 2008 when Obama was elected. I shared a Friends of the NRA diner table with him. He told us that he was processing so many CCW licenses that he’d had to double his staff and was going to double them again. He said he recommended that everybody who wanted one should get it as soon as possible, as he expected federal legislation that would limit the 2nd amendment rights but that most likely the licenses would be good until they ran out. (That didn’t happen.) But since then they’ve added several hundred thousand CCW holders in Florida. Anybody who goes marauding in Sanford or anyplace else will not maraude for long.
I’m moved to Florida in January and haven’t yet gotten my permit (keep forgetting to file the paper work and there’s a 6 month backlog). Nonetheless, I’ll be hunkered down with my AR-15, my .308, my .357, and my .270 Winchester all ready to go just in case.

While CCW is great ,hand guns are fine. Riots bring out long guns,shotguns. Clashes would be violent and ugly but over quickly me thinks in Florida.

If the rioting spreads to Detroit, when over, will anyone be able to tell that the place was trashed?
