Trayvon Martin’s Stepmother Speaks Out: I Don’t Think Zimmerman ‘Picked Him Out Because He Was Black’
Alicia Stanley, Trayvon Martin‘s stepmother, sat down last night for an emotional interview with Anderson Cooper. Stanley opened up about the 14 years she spent raising Martin with his father and how it’s been hard for her to watch George Zimmerman‘s trial and hear all the things people have been saying about the night that her son died. She told Cooper that while she is convinced of Zimmerman’s guilt, she does not personally believe that he picked her son out because he was black.

She became emotional again when talking about losing a child she raised for most of his life, and described how painful it was to not be able to sit in the front row at Martin’s funeral. She told Cooper that it would be “heartbreaking” and “unbelievable” if Zimmerman is found not guilty.

I get your sarcasm. It’s fair enough. But, preaching to the choir doesn’t get you converts!! You have to convince people that don’t agree with you that Zimmerman was in the right. The way you do this is to concede as many of their points as you possibly can and still beat them with logic. Let the call Zimmerman a stalker. Let them call Z a racist even. You can even sy Z threw the first punch. Concede all of that to anyone in Martin’s camp and it still doesn’t justify the beat-down Martin put in Z. Get it? That’s how you win an argument!!!
This isn’t even a difficult case. It’s very clear why the police didn’t press charges.

Yes, I’ve heard him. I think he’s doing it on purpose to try and reconcile this as best he can before it goes nuclear.
If he can sell it as a misunderstanding that ended tragically, even though it was certainly not a misunderstanding, and that prevents some people from going off the deep end, then I understand why he is doing it.
From my standpoint, I see nothing wrong with what Zimmerman did. I do not believe for a second that Martin was walking near houses because of rain. I believe he was up to no good. If someone tells me oh I think that because Martin is black, I say SO WHAT? If a person doesn’t want me thinking they are burglars, then don’t behave in such ways that would cause me to think that.
I really am not going to pussyfoot around this. If X group of people wishes to stop being perceived as criminals, then stop being criminals.
That is all.
It’s too bad Anderson Cooper wasn’t around to do an interview with Ted Bundy’s mother...or Jeffrey Dahmer’s mother... maybe we could have felt more sympathy... /s

That would be Sybrina Fulton, the one going on the trash-can cash circuit orgainzed by Al Sharpton. She now stands beside Tracy Martin, who left her 14 years ago.
Sybrina is a key player in the "scheme team" shakedown. She has friends in high places.

And I do think you are wrong. Zimmerman didn't even know what race Trayvon was until after he started the phone call with the non-emergency operator. It was the operator that asked him and Zimmerman couldn't tell him until Trayvon got closer to him.
I'm sure you can get access to the transcripts of that call (the entire call, not the lame excerpt that NBC tried to foist on the public to support their made up "Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon" scenario).

Not seated on the front row at the funeral ... my guess would be she was being told she was not family and not welcome, even though she had raised the kid.
