McCain and Schumer are making like Khrushchev. Imagine Russia hectoring us for taking in a Russian defector. I used to think these people were simply scummy. Now I think McCain and Schumer are megalomaniacs. The world would be a better place if they had never been born.

I don't think it's even that. If Snowden defects, he defects. Losing information to enemy spies is part of the cost of doing business. These people are acting like we are king of the world and everyone must prostrate themselves before us. They are generating lots of anti-American ill-will, probably among our allies, as well. May Allah infest their armpits with the fleas from a thousand camels.

I still consider the verdict out on Snowden, but the facts are the facts. The NSA was violating the constitution, and I don’t give a damn what the Patriot Act says.
When you have a security organization doing that, eventually you are going to get someone like Snowden who acts on his conscience to expose the government.
Schumer is Schumer. Always has been.
