Today, July 5th, is DAY #19 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
The State is expected to wrap up their case today – A great recap of the trial so far is available HERE: The key witness today expected to be Sybrina Fulton, mom.
Great Expectations? Remember, as y’all have noted during the 15+ months of research, there is so much corruption in the assembly of this case we could expect the State to avoid the traditional witnesses brought by normal prosecutions. We have not been disappointed in our predictions. The state has already won a pre-trial motion to bar the defense mentioning the absence of any witness from the State’s case.
So it comes as no surprise, not a single State investigator has been called, not a single FBI officer, only one local investigative detective, Chris Serino (who supported the defense), and now the profound possibility they won’t even present the Seminole County Medical Examiner. So has the State actually even proven that Trayvon is indeed, deceased? Without the M.E. the ballistics are essentially moot – where did the aforementioned bullet come from? They have not established it came from Trayvon’s body. Think about it.
Because of pre-trial ‘motions in limine’ to exclude the defense bringing it up, O’Mara cannot mention it. Would/Will the jurors notice a missing M.E. = Trayvon blood tox. etc?

I stand corrected! I was an Army brat for 18 years but never knew of that rank! And in the AF for a term but never new there was that rank. Chief Master Sgt of the Army and AF was all I knew! AS Top dogs! The old man finally made SFC after 20 years service and a last deployment to VN ground pounding and eradicating VC!!

Correct, it will not. But, other than the six jurors, the whole country knows about it now. It was pretty thoroughly aired in today’s hearing on Defense motion to acquit.

I remember that movie and him going in and out of that apartment. About 15 minutes ago, I looked up Burr and he had a male companion for a number of years, kept that under wraps and left his estate to this man, leaving nothing to other relatives. He would have had the encounter with my husband before he met the man he had as his partner.
I have come to see GZ and family as really solid citizens (the kind of Americans Obama taken the spotlight off). As corny as it sounds, I can see him as the kind of guy who would risk life and limb to become a neighborhood watchman...not because it was an officious job, but because he was needed.
Zimmerman is OK in my book. If he is acquitted, he will have a solid future ahead of him. If he is convicted, his future will not be as pleasant, but every bit as important.
GZ is innocent...and he'll always know he did the right thing.
Doesn’t sound like it but after hearing MOMs presser, it is going to get ugly and I think he has the means to bring the drug addled Trayvon into the testimony.
That was my take as well from the presser. Definitely indicated that TM character and background is on the table.
